Who allowed campfires in Wethersfield?

There use to be an ordinance that prohibited all outdoor burning except for cooking purposes.
A few years back the codes were changed to allow campfires. I guess that person that pushed for campfires doesn't have a child with asthma, nor do the residents seem to care about it either. I hope nobody ever has to go through asthma attacks, if you did you would be more careful on how you treat your fellow human beings.
