Karma and others should just say what they mean - all the GOP has to do is cave and give Obama exactly what he wants. Just like they'd do if the roles were reversed...right? Sure.
Except this has never happened. A compromise was always reached.

If not, Obama takes his ball and goes home. Some things never change, no matter how old we get.
The Left definition of compromise is to give them what they want without giving anything to you.

Sorry but that's not how this went at all.
The Republicans agreed to fund all forms of Government, accept for Obama care and wanted to negotiate defunding parts of that law. It was Obama who was unwilling to get round the table, as was his mandate to do so. It's his power hungry attitude that has lead to this shutdown. Yes he was elected President but last time I looked he wasn't made King.
The Republicans need to get their heads out of their azz and realize that Obama means what he says....there will be no negotiating on the Affordable Care Act. Period. Desperate, power hungry Republicans don't get their way just because they pout and stomp their feet.

The Affordable Care Act has already been enacted. It is the law of the land whether ReTHUGS like it or not. It's time for Republicans to come forward with a clean continuing resolution instead of presenting the same garbage over and over again and expecting a different result....this is the definition of INSANITY.

Keep up calling your fellow Americans terrorist, extremist, etc.; that will help the Dems win Rep votes in Rep districts they need to win the House back.

I don't know who thought up this nutsy verbiage, I think it was Reid. Noticed he later apologized for his over-the-top language.

Taking a closer look at the exchange website problems

"There were screen captures of database errors, not because the data was bad, but because the structure that holds the data was misdesigned.

There were 404 errors, which are totally design errors, meaning that the web sever was trying to get to a page that didn’t exist."

These are not just glitches.
