Go Socialists/Obama!

"This was the first time the government was given a rating below AAA. S&P had announced a negative outlook on the AAA rating in April 2011. The downgrade to AA+ occurred four days after the 112th United States Congress voted to raise the debt ceiling of the federal government by means of the Budget Control Act of 2011 on August 2, 2011."

But, yes Obama took down Amber Alert than after bad press re-opened it. This is the crap the admin is wasting money on during the shut down.
I still think the armed Park Rangers keeping people from taking pictures of Yellowstone and locking them in the lodge for two days is one of the worst behaviors known so far.
Tear down this Wall Obama...

Melt-down? Did someone spill water on her?

We spoke with one of the officers. There was no Amber Alert because they don't believe the kids were picked up and have no vehicle or abductor's description to give. Our system is up.

It was wrong of me to use that, anyway. regretted it as soon as I did it. They're my neighbors. The chopper is still circling. Hopefully the kids are just playing in a friend's house and will turn up soon.

Reports are that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is engaged in a massive, covert military buildup. An article in the Associated Press in February confirmed an open purchase order by DHS for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition. According to an op-ed in Forbes, thatís enough to sustain an Iraq-sized war for over twenty years. DHS has also acquired heavily armored tanks, which have been seen roaming the streets. Evidently somebody in government is expecting some serious civil unrest. The question is, why?
Recently revealed statements by former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown at the height of the banking crisis in October 2008 could give some insights into that question. An article on BBC News on September 21, 2013, drew from an explosive autobiography called Power Trip by Brownís spin doctor Damian McBride, who said the prime minister was worried that law and order could collapse during the financial crisis. McBride quoted Brown as saying:
If the banks are shutting their doors, and the cash points arenít working, and people go to Tesco [a grocery chain] and their cards arenít being accepted, the whole thing will just explode.
If you canít buy food or petrol or medicine for your kids, people will just start breaking the windows and helping themselves.
And as soon as people see that on TV, thatís the end, because everyone will think thatís OK now, thatís just what we all have to do. Itíll be anarchy. Thatís what could happen tomorrow.
How to deal with that threat? Brown said,ďWeíd have to think: do we have curfews, do we put the Army on the streets, how do we get order back?Ē
McBride wrote in his book Power Trip,ďIt was extraordinary to see Gordon so totally gripped by the danger of what he was about to do, but equally convinced that decisive action had to be taken immediately.Ē He compared the threat to the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Fear of this threat was echoed in September 2008 by US Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, who reportedly warned that the US government might have to resort to martial law if Wall Street were not bailed out from the credit collapse.
In both countries, martial law was avoided when their legislatures succumbed to pressure and bailed out the banks. But many pundits are saying that another collapse is imminent; and this time, governments may not be so willing to step up to the plate.

Jon Stewart grills Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Obamacare and accuses her of lying to him
Jon Stewart interviewed Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius about the roll out of Obamacare
Said that there is a 'legitimate criticism' over the fact that big businesses are allowed to wait a year before getting their employees coverage while individuals face a fine if they don't sign up by December 15
Also critiqued the tech problems that have plagued the Obamacare site
Signed off by saying that he thought 'she was lying' to him
Jon Stewart has been attacking the Republicans all week over the government shutdown but he took aim at a member of his own party on Monday night.
Kathleen Sebelius, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, was probably expecting a soft-ball interview about the roll out of President Obama's signature health care plan but instead she was left backpedalling to try to recover from his pointed criticisms.
The Comedy Central host started by poking fun at how long the online marketplace takes to load, saying that it was comparable to the amount of time it would take to download all of the movies ever created.
