Typical liberal hypocrite.
Republican's stand is for for their party.

Democrat's stand is for this country.

I have news, the ACA was debated, it was passed, it was defended in court, and Verified in the last presidential election.

Using it to stop government is a new low.

What's next, No debt ceiling unless all abortion is illegal?

You people are dumber than sh*t if you think this stand by Republicans has anything to do with the betterment of this country.

Are you dumber than sh*t, Ray?

Do you think we should just legislate in this manner.

Next the Democrats can say to not fund government unless all handguns are banned.

What would you say then,Ray.

What’s at stake in the partial “shutdown” of government? Certainly not Obamacare, which was never in danger. It’s all an exercise in drawing fake lines in the sandbox, so that the bipartisan business of gutting entitlement programs can recommence. Next stop: Grand Bargain junction. The sanctity of U.S. Treasury notes is what holds the nation – and its global empire – together.”

The government shutdown battle is more like a Civil War reenactment than the real thing. A face-saving bargain will soon be struck, returning 825,000 furloughed federal employees to their jobs at wages that have been frozen for the past two years – not by the Republicans, but on President Obama’s orders. The clock has been stuck with both hands on “austerity” since Obama came fully out of the closet as a GOP fellow-traveler following the 2010 midterm elections. From that moment on, Republican-imposed gridlock has been the only barrier to Obama’s long-sought Grand Bargain to eviscerate entitlement programs. When the current theatrics are over, Obamacare will remain intact and the president will be back on his ever-rightward stride. The GOP will take Obama up on his offer, earlier this year, to cut Social Security and will probably be offered other bits and pieces of the social safety net in the interest of “shared sacrifice” and domestic peace.

In the interim, while the reenactors haul their cannons around the cow pasture, waiting for the rich people who call themselves “markets” to signal an end to the charade, rest assured that national security is sacrosanct.

“When the current theatrics are over, Obamacare will remain intact and the president will be back on his ever-rightward stride.”

For example, the pause in some government spending will have minimal effect on the National Security Agency’s spying on Americans and the rest of the Earth’s inhabitants. The NSA circulated a memo stating that its “intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance activities required to support national or military requirements necessary for national security” are exempt from the fiscal exercise, as are all programs that are necessary for “protection of life and property.” Presumably, that means President Obama can still spend next Tuesday morning selecting the week’s victims for his Kill List.

Protection of property being the prime directive of both wings of the Corporate Party, democracy will remain in shutdown mode in Detroit and all of Michigan’s largely Black cities, whatever happens on Capitol Hill. The markets are hungry to devour the nation’s pension funds, and have chosen Black locales to perfect the model, secure in the knowledge that nobody of consequence will raise a finger to stop them from filching the nest-eggs of the undeserving classes.

Priceless simply priceless Putin Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
Since day one in office, Obama waged war on humanity. He continues doing it.

He wants Syria ravaged and destroyed. He plans war on Iran. He has other targets in mind.

He doesn’t have a peace bone in his body. He thrives on violence. He presides over a homeland police state apparatus.

He spurns core rule of law principles. He considers them quaint and out-of-date. They’re obstacles to achieving global dominance.

His agenda is belligerent. It’s interventionist. It deplores peace. It prioritizes conflict and instability. He wants unipolar world control.

Putin is polar opposite. He supports peace and stability. He calls nation-state sovereignty inviolable.

He champions multi-polar world cooperation. He deserves recognition for his efforts to achieve it.

All-Russian Education Fund president Sergey Komkov supports Putin’s nomination. He addressed Nobel Committee members by letter, saying:

Putin “appl(ies) maximum effort for maintaining peace, not only on the territory of his own country, but he also actively supports the peaceful settlement of all conflicts on the planet.”

On October 1, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro expressed support for Putin’s nomination, saying:

“If there is someone who deserves the Nobel Peace Prize at this historic moment, it is the Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was able to stop the war that threatened the Syrians.”

Venezuelan National Assembly President Diosadado Cabello Rondon plans visiting Moscow.

He’ll give Putin a congratulatory letter. He’ll do so for “the role he is playing in establishing a new world of peace.”

Obama only one group of people are mystified by you not all of america and not the world you are and will show the person that you really are petition wants Obama to give Putin his 2009 award, stating:

“Whereas Mr. Obama made a sincere commitment to starting a war with Syria, engaging our military in unwanted conflict, and doing so without the support of his people, we resolve that Mr. Obama should deliver the Nobel Peace prize given to him in 2009 to a man of Peace, the President of Russia, Mr. Putin.”

“Whereas Mr. Putin enabled the United States to avoid an unwanted and unwarranted military action, he has brought us to the ‘brink’ of peace.”

Other global initiatives want Obama’s award rescinded. RootsAction headlined “Revoke Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize,” saying:

“After receiving the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, President Obama has made perpetual war look more perpetual than ever.”

“Today, there are more US troops in Afghanistan than when Obama took office.”

“His increasing intervention in Syria promises the loss of even more than the nearly 100,000 lives already needlessly sacrificed.”

“His intervention in Libya cost thousands of lives while destabilizing the entire region.”

“His presidency has widened the use of drones and other instruments of remote killing without limit to almost any place on the globe.”

“Please sign this petition to the Norwegian Nobel Committee.” Access it at RootsAction.org .

On October 1, The New York Times headlined “Citing Efforts to Prevent Attack on Syria, Group Nominates Putin for Peace Prize.”

Explain to us how the House passing bills to fund the government is copying Alinsky.

Harry Reid can end the government shut down today. All he has to do is put the bills from the House on the Senate floor for a vote. There is no mention whatsoever of ObamaKare in any of those bills.
Perhaps that's the problem? So, Democrats are holding the government hostage, right?

Something I found quite amusing was a middle-aged democratic woman trying to explain to a young conservative male who complained about having to pay more for HIS insurance than everyone else that it was "the American way" for some to pay more.

She just wasn't the one having to pay more.

Liberals crack me up sometimes. They love being generous with OTHER PEOPLE'S money who are just as hard working as they are. But as long as it's SOMEONE ELSE making more money - don't ask THEM to pay more!

The real obama Obama bears full responsibility for lawless aggression on Libya. Doing so destroyed Africa’s most developed country.

Daily charnel house violence, instability, poverty, unemployment, homelessness, hunger, and human misery replaced it. Don’t expect The Times to explain.

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili is a despotic US-installed stooge.

On August 7, 2008, he lawlessly attacked South Ossetia. He did so with Bush administration backing.

President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Putin acted responsibly. They did so to protect thousands of Russian citizens at risk.

Times editors, commentators and writers misreported on what happened. They didn’t surprise. They backed lawless aggression. They opposed responsible self-defense. They did so disgracefully.

They’re doing it again now. They criticize Putin’s efforts to prevent full-scale war on Syria.

He vetoed three US-led Security Council resolutions to do it. The Times lied saying he “block(ed) international action that could have stemmed the violence in Syria and prevented the deaths of more than 100,000 civilians.”

Syria is Obama’s war. He bears full responsibility for mass killing and destruction. The Times didn’t explain.

Two Years After US-NATO War, Torture Rampant in Libya
THE FOOLS ARE CHEERING AT THEIR OWN LYNCHING BECAUSE THE HANGMAN LOOKS LIKE THEM Two years after the end of the US-NATO war in Libya, thousands in the North African country remain imprisoned without charges and are being subjected to systematic torture, according to a report released Tuesday by the United Nations.

The report, entitled “Torture and deaths in detention in Libya” recorded 27 cases in which the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has gathered evidence substantiating that detainees have been tortured to death. The agency knows of many other cases that it has not been able to investigate. At least 11 of the documented torture deaths took place during the first half of this year.

All of the known deaths this year are reported to have taken place in “detention centres under the nominal authority of the government but effectively under the authority of armed brigades.” There are an estimated 8,000 individuals held in these centers.

Those who are arrested disappear into the network of detention and torture centers, without their families knowing their whereabouts. An unknown number are being kept prisoner by armed militias in secret sites ranging from apartments to farms and former government offices.

Grabbed from the streets, their workplaces or homes without any evidence presented against them, many of these prisoners have been subjected to arbitrary and indefinite detention as well as torture for nothing more than the color of their skin—black Libyans and other Africans have been mercilessly repressed by the pro-NATO “rebels”—or tribal affiliation.

“Some have been detained apparently on the basis of belonging to certain tribal or ethnic groups, including Warfalla, Tawergha, and Mashashia, as these groups are collectively perceived by some as having supported the former regime. Given the arbitrary nature of the arrests and lack of judicial oversight, cases of personal score-settling are not uncommon,” the report states.

Security conditions in Libya are so bad that it was impossible for UN personnel to investigate conditions at detention centers in the eastern part of the country. The report likewise acknowledges that throughout the country “armed brigades remain in effective control of territory and State functions, including detention and interrogation, and many have swelled their ranks since” the US-NATO war for regime change.

The BLOODLUST COMING FROM THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY in support of this war monger PRESIDENT OBAMA
