Where in the hell did you come up with that gem? Are you drunk already?
Why is it that PerduPharma can create a drug that is highly addictive and make billions pushing it and the poor slob on the street who becomes an addict goes to prison for 15 years for selling a few pills that he was prescribed for? Makes no sense.
The real drug dealers are the corporations, raking in billions. Drug addicts don't belong in jail or prison; they'll only use again when they get out unless they are involved in a rehabilitation program even though they don't always work either.
I wish some scientist would create a drug that would take away the urge from addicts. That person would be a hero and solve a huge problem in the world.

Did the Neocons Blind Bush to 9/11?

Here's my prediction: the more that the record of the Bush administration is surveyed and uncovered, the worse the role of the neoconservatives will appear. And this is saying quite something. I don't doubt that the neocons will respond by saying that Eichenwald is engaging in his own version of conspiracy thinking or that he's trying to trip up the Romney campaign, which is filled with neocons. But the issue is an important one: Why has Romney filled his camp with advisers whose advice led to one of the most calamitous and costly debacles in American history?

BTW George's cousin came forward with accusations of long term sexual abuse and one of his former co-workers came forward with tales of racist rants. Why didn't you link that?
George did indeed stand before the Sanford city commission and bitch about the police department and a specific ride along he set up through school. George also emailed the "new" police chief praising him for turning around the department__about one month after her took the job. That police chief lost his job due to the Zimmerman case.

No I don't. You just assume all black people are poor, uneducated and dependent. That's just not true. That's a stereotype that fits into your racist white supremacist agenda.
When you continually call them a herd, claim that they are all ignorant people on foodstamps; you are calling them stupid.
Your party and you are against raising the minimum wage, and lowering the costs of higher education. Not me. I am all for upward mobility.

You're a fkn idiot who knows next to nothing about that case beyond flawed news reports you've found on other topix threads and
blogs. George fkd up big time and created enormous problems for several people, he was lucky to be acquitted, very lucky, in many jurisdictions he would have been arrested on day one and quickly convicted.
BTW CNN staff writers are not sources.

DALLAS — The wife of rock musician Ted Nugent has been arrested after a handgun was found in her carry-on luggage at an airport security checkpoint.

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport spokesman David Magana confirmed to The Dallas Morning News () that 51-year-old Shemane Ann Nugent was taken into custody Thursday. http://dallasne.ws/17qnHUp

(why is it always a mistake when a person brings a gun to an airport? Are these people so oblivious as to what is in their luggage that they don't know where their guns are at all times?)

Sorry, not buying it. If you don't know where your gun is at all times, you have no business having one in the first place.

Connecticut Man Who Shot Himself Riding A Bike Blamed It On Gangs

A Connecticut man who accidentally shot himself with a gun in his waistband while riding a bicycle initially blamed it on a local gang, the Associated Press reported Friday.

Stratford police charged 22-year-old Wendell Docteur with making a false statement to authorities, including the unlawful discharge of a firearm during the May incident. Docteur posted a $10,000 bail and is due for arraignment on Sept. 5.

So with Labor Day coming up and given why it was created, how many of you rightwingers think it should be done away with?

The History of Labor Day

Labor Day: How it Came About; What it Means

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

'dedicated to the social and economic achievements of the American workers'

That does not sounds like anything rightwing tea baggers would be interested in.

A Connecticut man, who accidentally shot himself while riding a bicycle, was arrested this week after lying to police and saying that a “gang” of men wearing black hoodies had attacked him.

The Connecticut Post reported that Stratford police were notified on Thursday that 22-year-old Wendell Docteur was being treated for a gunshot wound to his right leg. Docteur told officers that he was riding his bike “when he was confronted by a half dozen men, dressed all in black with hooded sweatshirts covering their faces,” according to the paper.

Docteur claimed that the gang had robbed him of his money and then yelled,“North End, North End,” as they fled. The North End is a neighborhood in Bridgeport.
