it's not the media. it's 8 years of incompetence from the Bush admin. and until you folks figure that out you're going to have an endless steam of Democrats in the WH that will keep FOX in the money for years to come.
We now have four years, two months, and thirteen days of complete incompetence by the Obama administration.

Institutionalizing someone under the Baker Act isn't as easy as you might think.
Changing the law to simply detain someone for a short period of time with sufficient reason and enough people agreeing the red flags are there just long enough for mental health professionals to determine if they are a threat to society and themselves would not require any changes in HIPAA or the current privacy laws.
Mike Chitwood drove George Anthony from his motel romm to Halifax Hospital and George Baker Acted himself in about five minutes the alternative was Chitwood legally Baker Acting him.

George more than likely still has his ccw permit.

As I said, the list of unintended consequences is enormous.

Republicans/Conservatives are not sitting in judgment of Obama we’re just holding him to his promises!!
Obama promise to Cut The Budget in Half, Create 500.000 New Jobs a Month, Unemployment at 5.6, Go through the federal budget “line by line” to weed out waste and corruption etc.! The facts are under this administration fraud and abuse is running rampant, historic debt/deficit in defending this President Liberals/Democrats are asking us to Lower Our Expectation!! Gotta Love It

Yes the dog Barney wasn't bad. Perhaps he should stick to painting dogs with a "vengeance"!!
Was he wearing clothes in the bathtub and shower? I think that those paintings are very revealing about his psyche.
Do you think it may be guilt about waterboarding? or some sort of autoerotic self torture while watching himself in the mirror?

i think they should all go to boca boca raton porpoise spit. actually, poor people travel up FROM florida, because florida doesn't provide housing and free everything the way ny does--no questions asked.

of course, as usual--you distort and can't admit that LIBERAL POLICIES usually lack common sense and their unintended consequences result in a further decline in society.

hypocrite--some redistributors just scaled your fence, better get out the sling shot or stuff them up your birth canal so you can legally kill them.

Maybe it shouldn’t surprise us that the man who brought us a vision of compassionate conservatism would turn to art to express the angst of a crappy Presidency that got us into two wars, used homophobia, racism, and sexism as an electoral tool, crashed our economy, and made the world hate America. This is a man who is obviously feeling his mortality. He sits in the bathtub alone. Nothing to contemplate. Nothing to see beyond reflections of himself and his body. There is almost a melancholy in these images, with their grays, and he is not presented a strong, heroic person, quite the opposite. This is not the George W. Bush of Fox News or Sunday morning talk shows. This is Bush, the old man, with lots of time on his hands. Once the most powerful man in the world, Bush is now alone, exploring his immediate surroundings in these spurts of introspection. If only he had done this all along, maybe he would’ve been a better leader.

Sounds like Obama could do much more to prevent mass murderers from roaming free by addressing the mental health issue instead of attacking Second Amendment rights.

This would be a rare opportunity for Obama to gain wide bipartisan consensus and lead a successful charge to protect American lives.

Only problem is that his administration is based on attacking Republicans for all his failures.

pretty successful don't you think?
It works every time!

With the help of the Liberal media Liberals can accomplish anything!

If you are against Communism you are an idiot.

If you sea against Islam you are islamophobic.

If you are against kids DINNER menu you hate kids.

If you are against paying 10% extra property taxes for teachers vacations then you hate teachers and their students.

If you are against 10,000 annual bonus for police then you hate police.

If you refuse to pay extra taxes for women to have abortion or birth pills then you hate women.

If you want blank ghetto kids to work then you are racist.

Etc. etc.

Till American realize the little game.

Next, if you are against men marrying little girls or having sex with animals then you are...

That man Evan Ebel who killed the Dept of Corrections director, got his gun from a straw buyer, now she has been arrested.
I agree that gun laws don't stop murderers from committing murder.
Just as I agree that the death penality is not a detterant to crime.
There are millions of guns available on the street. Most of them were stolen from peoples homes.
Should state mental hospitals become a reality again with long term commitments?
Your last sentence was unnecessary and inflammatory, not to mention not true. Stick to the issue. Murders and crimes with guns affect everyone;
no one needs an assault weapon. Start with that.

Why would the neighbors take it upon themselves to cut down trees belonging to someone else, rather than contacting the power company if they were concerned?

This man's actions may have been extreme, but where do you draw the line?
