You have to take the platform as a whole, it doesn't work if you just cherry-pick it. I'm certainly not the only libertarian who thinks that intergenerational debt is theft and that while the preference would be cutting spending if that "can't" be done then revenues MUST increase to erase the deficit. That's the basis of fiscal responsibility and was in fact the way the government conducted itself until the 16th Amendment.<quoted text>
