Wrong.
Bush's complete destruction of the American economy forced Americans onto food stamps, as Bush and Rmoney exported American jobs by the hundreds of thousands.
That was the deal Bush made with China;
You loan us money for the wars, we'll export our fsactory jobs to you.
In this, Bush laid the foundations for the collapse, which happened on his watch!!
DEal with it, ya freakin' loser!!
And you wonder why most Americans still hold Bush responsible for th eDepression he created.
So what do you think about the accelerated use of drones under this president and the negative reaction and connotation of their overuse around the world?

Republicans aren't perfect. Never claimed to be. Even if they don't have all the answers and there may be some truth in what you said - the ugly side of politics has to take a back seat when it comes down to the only two choices we have.
Otherwise, you become like Tenzing - wanting something that simply doesn't exist and then picking and choosing which side to root for. In his case, the worst of the two.
At least you aren't going in that direction.
lol! This coming from a con? Aren't you people the ones who threw Chis Chistie under the bus for helping is state?

Even Boehner refused to help until he got his arm twisted.

What a bunch of stupid, political hypocrites cons are!

While GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney won’t go the record about the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba detention facility, at the third presidential debate he did indicate he would continue President Obama’s controversial drone strike program against alleged terrorist suspects.

The debate moderator, CBS News Bob Schieffer framed the question this way; “What is your position on the use of drones?"

“I support that (drone strikes) entirely and think the president was right to use that technology,” Romney said at the foreign policy debate.

<quoted text>Yes. iraq was invaded for no reason at all. Afghanistan was invaded for a specific reason.
If there was any military effort I applaud bushie on, it was Afghanistan.
Iraq is only of strategic importance if the US can maintain a presence there. But that's still no reason for the invasion.
Russia can even tell you Afghanistan is an "unwinnable war".

Why is Obama the only one who thinks it's still the "right war"?

I'm not sure how you'd make that assumption. He may have decency in a relative way but rationality is nowhere to be found.

so the point was....plenty of guns make their way to Mexico 'legally'. with no help from anyone but the general public.
Aside from the AZ gun and pawn shops Crossroads of the West Gun Shows and others hold dozens of events each year in that loophole state.

Guns are biz in AZ__the sellers know where the weapons are going and don't really give a shyte.

At least you admit Obama is following in Bush's footsteps when it comes to war strategies and foreign policy.

But Iraq is no longer an issue and the media rarely reports any news on Obama's wars. That's the difference.

Malians welcome French intervention

In Bamako, Mali's windswept capital, people are talking of nothing else but the French intervention in the North of their country.

The operation by French forces to stop a rebel advance towards the capital has won their hearts. Before the French intervened residents of Bamako were living in fear of the rebels overrunning their country's weak army and reaching the capital in a short time.

"I salute the French for coming to our aid," Mariam Coulibally, said balancing a heavy basket of grocery on her head. "God knows where we would have been if they had not arrived in time," she added.

<quoted text>Actually, now that you mention it, that part of the world is rich in rare earth minerals.
So from an economic standpoint, it is of strategic importance.
By what right does anyone or any country have the right to go and take by force what natural resources (someone elses) that they want, killing, maiming and creating hatred along the way, calling it their 'strategic interest'?

Let's say that the law abiding of this country were all disarmed and the entire Constitution openly dissolved.{{{shudder}}}

What will you do? if another country decided that we had 'strategic interests' for them- all the natural resources that we have locked up and not using they decide they want and proceed to invade, occupy & take them (like we do to everyone else.)

Then all the whiney babies who don't like guns would really wish they had one.

Not having guns does not make society more civilized.

Foreign registry ships are not permitted to sail between two U.S. ports. So, Alaskan cruise ships must leave from Canada.
