Liar. Obama voted present 129 times. Total
These were typically on bills put up for political reasons.
So no, he did not vote present 123 times on economic policy issues.
As Senator in both the State & federal, Obama gained experience dealing with fiscal matters which was my point.
Isn't one of the conditions of your parole not to have access to the Internet?

I'll presume you're not planning on having any of your acquired wealth "redistributed".
You prove my point. You have no clue what "redistribution of wealth" means.

What a idiot.

Save your breath. "real dumb" is not into facts, he is into left wing propaganda. He is a firm believer that the government should be in control, that they should determine where you have to purchase your health insurance, that those who are successful and work hard and produce should take care of those with their hands out. For crying out loud "real dumb" doesn't hit the head without the okay of his messiah, president nobama.
Peace
Wow, still spreading that lie.

You an purchase your health insurance where ever you want. There is no law that says where to have to buy it.

That makes you a liar.

As usual.

Pleeeeeeeese, don;t make me laugh, Obamacare is not funded, we're all going to be paying for it in higher taxes. Do you really think Obama is Santa Claus?
Obamacare is a wealth transfer from one group to another.
Funded means there is revenue generated to pay for it.

You dumbass.

Banks are in the business of making money, there were justifiable reasons for denying loans in certain areas. Why didn't all the rich black athletes, singers, rap stars, actors, get together and make loans to their brothers? Some of the rich whiteys could have chipped in too. I'm sure Buffet had a couple of billion to spare.
The lawsuit involved whites getting loans where blacks did not in the same area.

Redlining because of race is racial discrimination

Try some honesty, if the repubs wouldn't have passed part D, do you expect us to believe the dems wouldn't have? Since when did not having the cash to pay for something ever stop the dems? What funded the extension of unemployment payments?
Have you seen Obumbles trillion dollar plus deficits?
Who's "funding" those?
The idea behind stimulus action is to pump borrowed money into the economy.

Part D was passed during reasonably good economic times & was not a stimulus action.

The ACA was funded. Part D was not.

Bawney Frank had a hissy fit, said F and F were just fine, the LSM was complicit in the cover up and Bush dropped it and here we are.
Your arguments aren't persuading me.
Baks did not like Fannie & Freddie as they thought both held an advantage over banks in the marketplace.

They went to their puppet Bush.

This "reform" was not reform at all. It was George Bush trying to take F & F oversight away from Congress & put it in the treasury department i.e. the White House.

My God, if Obama tried a power grab like that, you'd be marching in the streets.

The housing bubble provided a false economic picture that everything was fine & provided additional wealth to prop up the economy.

Did you read the article from San Jose state economics dept?
"Although some people erroneous attribute the financial crisis to this mortgage default insurance and/or to securitization, these practices are perfectly legitimate and appropriate for financial markets. The problem arose because Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac were the key institutions in providing mortgage default insurance and in buying subprime mortgages. There were abuses of the derivative instruments that should have been punished by the market but were not because the perpetrators were ultimately bailed out. "
It's all there dave, read it.

Even "real dumb" is bright enough to realize that if Reid brought the 30 + bills passed by the house and sent to the senate were voted on most if not all would pass. That is the last thing he wants to see happen. "real dumb" hates honesty and transparency.

All bills containing a poison pill. Republicans passed bills they knew would not stand a chance in the Senate.

They had no desire to pass a bill that would pass the Senate & help America.

i would say that after getting their asses handed to them in the election, and with what the exit polls had to say about Bush, you're dealing with those who will never change in their insistence of ignoring reality.

i don't even bother anymore. the horse is dead, and as amusing at it is, there's no way they can revive it.

The Republican Party's Image Problem—and How to Fix It

As long as extreme candidates like Todd Akin keep winning GOP nominations, more welcoming faces like Scott Brown will always be fighting an uphill battle.
