The supermarket house bread brands are significantly less expensive than Wonder Bread, making the product a tough sell when it offers no real advantage.
Merita a Hostess Brands Co actually bakes some "in house brands."
Publix has in house bargain breads, in house premium breads which along with various other name brand breads are sold on the bread aisle, baked fresh in store breads and various specialty breads and rolls sold elsewhere in the store.
None of that sht matters. Hostess Brands is history because it's been a very poorly managed company for a good number of years. Some one will will pick up the valuable pieces and trademarks and move forward. Case closed!
