I agree....life in prison without the chance for parole.

Wow, talk about painting everyone with the same brush...you sound like quite the expert (...funny, with two college degrees I don't feel like a loser....). I've been going to Diggers for a number of years now and the vast majority of people I've met there have been decent and friendly, particularly the folks who work there. No matter where you go, whether its the local bar or the food mart down the street, you will always find a few problem people, and once you add alcohol to the mix bad things can happen.
That bar is and has been drug infested for years. You can walk into that bar drunker than a skunk, buy a bag of coke and still be served. The people that go there are alcholics and the people that work there do drugs. Shootings and people being left for dead out in the cold is not clasified as a typical bar with few problem people. It's quite obvious you have a double college degree in stupidity.

If what you say is true, and I don't doubt it, I'd like to know why Cromwell Police Dept isn't more visible there. What happened to a good old fashioned bar raid???? Why has the drug activity been allowed to go unchecked? Is this to help the owners for when they're sued? No records of complaints will help them out. Just like Cocktails on the Green.

Oh trust me it's true. Well let's use our heads here. Drug dealers don't advertise and the people who buy them don't either. Bartendars are there to make as much money as they can and serving a drunk is a gold mine. No one complains because they are the ones that go into the establishment once and realize it's bad news and never return.

You misunderstood my post. I never said having a college degree makes anyone a loser. Hanging out at Diggers with a bunch of losers does. I learned long ago that if you're around shit long enough you begin to smell like shit. Make sense?? I'm sure your not a loser but hanging around that place will definately give you that label. I went to Diggers once and was sitting on the patio minding my own business and a couple approached me offering me to do lines with them. Pretty scary when perfect strangers assume you do drugs because you frequent that establishment. Especially considering I was in a suit and clearly didn't belong in that environment. I never returned to that dump again. I'm more of a Max Amore' kinda girl. Diggers is a dump and a breeding ground for losers & drug addicts. Folks with children, decent jobs & a college degree don't belong there because you're giving yourself a bad name.

OK, so now I'm stupid...this is the first time I have ever posted to one of these forums and it will definitely be my last...I guess denigrating other people that you don't know is the norm (nice tolerance)...and people wonder why people get shot..I guess the next thing someone will be writing is that the poor Wesleyan girl who got shot was a loser for hanging out at a bookstore.

have a nice day

You are right I don't know you and I should have never made such a comment, it was completely out of line. Please accept my apology.

Please take my advice and be very careful if you continue to visit that bar..It is bad news! Yes, there are "some" nice people there but there is also alot of drug exchange...which will only lead to more problems in the future.
