It sounds like this Tavern in town needs a little more police patrolling as this is the second major event that has happened.
For a small town we have read about more bad press about O'Leary's than some of these larger bars and clubs in the bigger
cities. It's to bad because Cromwell has a lot of good things going for it.

Sounds like a drug deal gone bad. How come none of this bad stuff happens at Rookies? Maybe the Cromwell Police Chief can wake up and stop bugging the First Selectman.

Blame the people who commit the crimes, not the police. There is no "cure" for crime.

The age-old "cure" for crime, known for milleneums, is SWIFT, CERTAIN AND SEVERE PUNISHMENT. There is no "cure" for stupidity.

Not a drug deal gone bad. Just one person being way too intoxicated and doing something WAY out of context for the situation. Not that shooting someone is in context for any situation, but this was an issue that the shooter created in his own mind and nobody could have seen it coming...

Nothing but a bunch of losers go to Diggers. That so-called "Tavern" needs to be shut down. It's bringing nothing but negative attention to Cromwell. People need to stop blaming the Cromwell PD! They're not to blame for all the crime going on in Cromwell lately.

I do pray that Michael does recover from such wounds!

Funny, if it was a 'cure', after several milleniums then there would be no more crime.

I said that swift, certain and severe punishment HAS BEEN KNOWN to be a certain "cure" for crime for milleniums meaning crime is "cured" whenever the "cure" is applied. Even the ancients say enough data points to reach that conclusion; why can't you?

Wow, talk about painting everyone with the same brush...you sound like quite the expert (...funny, with two college degrees I don't feel like a loser....). I've been going to Diggers for a number of years now and the vast majority of people I've met there have been decent and friendly, particularly the folks who work there. No matter where you go, whether its the local bar or the food mart down the street, you will always find a few problem people, and once you add alcohol to the mix bad things can happen.

Maybe all the crime will disappear when Tony Salvatore becomes First Selectman.
Maybe then Chief Nelson can go at Salvatore the way Salvatore now goes at Shingleton.
Follow all that?

Am I missing something here? Wasn't it 1:30 on a weeknight? Nice places that cater to nice people don't have people in the parking lot after they close. The Nice people usually go home when the place closes. They were obviously doing something there besides "socializing"... btw, closing time is 1 am.
