Mommam1n, I would be very interested in hearing what you have found out as well. The screws are tightening it appears. I believe Paul has been on this forum but not going by the name Paul. I also believe that Tracy has been still been paying close attention. There is some interesting posts here and have been watched for a long time. Please do share any new info that hasn't been shared already. It's funny that Funny would know where Paul was paroled to. Not so funny when you slip is it?

I understand how you can feel somewhat guilty for bringing Paul to Rural St, but that's just fate. Nobody knew the full extent of his mental health. I'm guessing that a lot of the animosity you felt towards your step-mom was her age. Take comfort in the fact that David, Dean, Di & Deb were also upset that your Dad married someone that was younger than them. Did you know that they were all worried Kim's cocaine use might come out at trial? I'm sure that you know your Dad had moved on and was dating another young woman before the trial even got started.

Fascinating conversation. I went to East, I think the same grade as Paul (class of '88), never heard of him until his arrest. Heard all the rumors, I remember when he escaped from Joliet - a friend of a friend who testified at his trail was terrified he was coming after her, apparently everyone who testified was on his 'list'. Glad I never crossed paths with that Evil being.
Interestingly, one of the boys in my grade school class lived next door or on the same street to the Nelsons (the case Count was originally researching). I remember him being very upset at school and our teacher telling us not to ask him about it. I think he & his sister were friends with some of the murdered kids - although they didn't go to our school, ours was a special arts school in a different area of town. But the murder of the Nelson kids and of Paul Bouchard murdering Kim are ones I'll never forget. The '88 Erabs went thru a lot in a short time, there were the 2 boys who were killed in the motorcycle accident (I think the same year or shortly after PB was arrested) and the boy who committed suicide as his girlfriend's gravesite within a few days.
Every now & then I think about those years & wonder what happened to Paul, I had heard about the strangling incident several years ago - googled his name & Rockford & it came up. Found this thread & was hoping to learn he was dead or locked up for life by now - too bad he isn't.

He actually is back in jail/prison-he was living outside of Savannah, GA and was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, making terroristic threats and drunk driving...he's a sociopath for sure.....

I'm Kim's sister, for this Tracy to even call my sister her "mom" makes me sick! She was Bouchard girlfriend at the time. I had a run in with this little girl at the time of my sisters murder. My sister was this girl step-mom, for her to act like she loved Kim so much just makes me sick. There is a lot she has never told anyone about, like the letters the police found with her stating she wish my sister dead. She got her wish. My sister was stabbed over 80 plus times by this crazy, it completely torn my family apart. this Sept 3 will be 25 years. you never get over it, never!! This man should have been given the death penalty. I'm not sure what happen to these other women sense I do not live in Rockford anymore. But I will pray for them. If some one could inform me I would like to know about what took place with these other cases

small world. The Bouchard's used to live in Naperville when I was a kid. He had choked me with nun chucks until an older neighbor kid came over to help. This was probably early to mid 80's. Sorry to hear of the loss he has caused. also ironic because I now live in Rockford.

the last time I heard about Paul Bouchard was when we were locked up together in Rockford downtown juvenile back in the 80's he was quiet he didn't really say too much I knew what he did , we never said anything about why we were there just played ping-pong and chilled and watched movies and then he got shipped out and I stayed there and did the rest of my 6 months in downtown juvenile Rockford Illinois.

Yes he is dangerous. It was my stepmom that he killed back in 1986, September 3 to be exact. And it was over 55 times to the back of the head and neck. She was defenseless. She also had stab wounds on her wrists and arms from trying to protect herself.
We went as a hired crew to clean house yrs later
And I was assigned the area of Kim's death I became very sick n white in color and was unable to finish the job..jus shows how crime effects a lot of innocent ppl.
