I can't imagine any woman having an abortion does so without a lot of stress. I knew a lady who laughed about hers, and said she wish she could have another one, for the meds, but people say one thing, and hide their true feelings inside.
There is no easy answer to this, but I still don't believe the kill at will program is a good message to be sending.
The more backup plans / the more risk people will take.
So your solution is to eradicate "backup plans". Contraception. Abortion. THEN, you think, THEN people will never ever have sex UNLESS they are absolutely SURE they want a baby.

Hi STO :)
I'd imagine putting up for adoption is pretty tough. But we don't aim for criminalizing it because some women have regrets. What gets me about AC is how they accuse us of dehumanizing the embryo/fetus - I don't - all while they dehumanize/demonize women who make the decision to terminate unwanted/unhealthy pregnancy. All the while they post as if they're justified to do such a thing while referring to PC as eeeevvviiilllllll for supporting women's civil rights to choice.
What gets ME is how on the one hand they will say these women are in denial, that they were lied to, etc. Then turn around and say these ^^same^^ women are evil murderers. And on top of that, they don't want these "evil murderers" to get life in prison or have any punishment whatsoever.

Just tells me they don't believe half the sh*T they shovel.

<quoted text>Killing your child vs putting your child up for adoption where they can be CHOSEN by an adoptee couple who wants them. Hmmm....THIS puzzles you?
Did it puzzle you when you heard about Susan Smith or Andrea Yates drowning their children? They were all known to be loving Moms too. They made a choice that they felt was best for their children. Did you view their personal choices as a loving mom or a simply evil? Were their choices a form of denial? I mean what crazy person who think that this was best? Did your "ideologies not let you see anything else"?
"Did you view their personal choices as a loving mom or a simply evil?"

I think they are mentally ill. I know Andrea Yates is. It's documented. Was documented before she had more children after the first. As I recall, her psychologist? recommended she not have more children. Told her husband that.

Yeah, I know you think abortion is murder. I don't. That's been settled for a good long while.

But can you really tell me Andrea Yates' kids were better off having been drowned in terror than aborted at 8 weeks?

Of course you do. Why am I asking. Notice there's no question mark.

I'm not clueless to the fact of what us humans do. I are one :)

Accent on "babies"...f**k`em when they get to be too old, like 2 or 3. Meanwhile, those kids who aren't young, healthy, and white enough get to live their lives in the system. Fortunately though, these desperate would-be parents can buy kids that fit the profile on the foreign market.

I never took birth control pills. I don't like pills or artificial hormones or anything that may have detrimental side effects, etc. I used the rhythm method and simply avoided sexual activity during ovulation times because it was the most natural way to go....I have 2 kids.

Okay, since Ink won't answer any questions, let's recap.
She has a friend who, in Ink's estimation has committed multiple baby murders, cheerfully admitting to how self-centered she is. Furthermore, Ink allows her friend's husband, apparently just fine with the (in Ink's estimation) multiple murders of his babies (which one must assume makes HIM as self-centered a baby murderer in Ink's eyes) to "borrow" her 6 year old daughter to go on a playdate at MacDonald's.
Does this seem like a tall tale to anyone else?
Ink, you're even worse at these CONVENIENT anecdotes than Sassy. And that's saying something, because she's LOUSY at it. Do yourself a favor, and stop trying to bolster your arrogance with supposed real life. It makes you look even more foolish than usual.
Sounds like a fabricated tale. But then who knows? Perhaps Ink cannot resist male authority and when said male baby murderer wants her 6 year old daughter to go on a play date she simply cannot resist?
I doubt Ink finds any problem with a male, she seems a bit mesmerized.

Does that mean you want to see contraception made illegal as well as abortion? If that is the case, then it's obvious to me that you want women to have only TWO "choices," pregnancy or celibacy.

Yeah, G, let's see how well the conservative/religionist guys would like it if their wives and girlfriends (who DON'T want pregnancy or children) start practicing celibacy big time, by saying "NO!" every time the guys pressure them to have sex. My guess; these guys wouldn't like it one bit.

Concern for whom? I don't know you or your cats. Interesting that someone blabbing about the culture of death personally escorts their pet to die. You are prolife only when it is convenient for you.

Hi! I am using an alias. I usually blog about war
religion and/or politics. This forum I will speak,
again, about space aliens and the second coming of
Jesus Christ. Let us speak about "death" first...We
all must die. The Bible says: "there will be no more death on my holy mountain" meaning earth, so,
someday no one will die! I would like to give you,
again, some space alien web addresses...here they are...alaje777...sirian messages...pleaidian messages...ascended masters...Please put these addresses in the top browser line of your computer
and click on "enter"..."ENJO Y" and believe. The
space aliens do not take away from the second coming of Jesus; I just do not know which will come
first or if they will be simultaneous. When people
ask me when the end of the world will happen; I say: "Any day it will happen"; no more dates to fear....Live one day at a time. LOVE one another
for these are the words of Jesus. He said in The
Gospel: "Love one another; as I have loved you!
I have said enough...I will blog every Friday that
I have access to a computer or until the end of the
world or I die! Love, el cid 777

You are on to something with this assessment, STO. But I do think they believe it. As long as the woman/girl feels the proper remorse, no punishment is necessary. The ones who don't, those are the eevvviiillll ones! They deserve what they get.

Imo, it seems Ink has devolved women's independence to the level of the blame game. Her attitude toward women's civil rights leans heavily into misogynistic territory. Her friend with common interests shares she's had more than one abortion because of selfishness. Perhaps Ink was unaware of family histories including medical issues and the woman simply didn't want any children. Most likely, if her pattern here is as true in her real life, Ink misunderstood what was said to her and she jumped to wrong conclusions; negative judgment calls.

Her story sounds plausible, but farfetched. I could be the same doubting Thomas she is or just let it go. Letting it go seems more peaceful.

Happy Friday, Bitner :)

It's not a question of "like". They don't compare, for a number of reasons.
I remember when you said "a human" exists in the womb. As I've proven time and time again (and you've failed to counter), "a human" (noun) is a synonym for "human being."

You know a human being is being snuffed out during an abortion, but continue to support this evil act.

You're a mess.

Katie is so lost, dazed and confused at this juncture that she has not idea what she's even saying.

She pretends to be a feminist, yet openly doesn't give two shits about females in the womb.

She's a fake feminist and a sociopath.

No, a human being is not, and you have not proven otherwise.

My point, which you didn't address anyway, stands.
