How awful of you to try and minimize the discrimination they face.. Especially when you were on here whining about your religious persecution.
God forbid someone might feel uncomfortable around someone who's gay. How will they deal with such a horrible feeling?? Perhaps it's time to grow up and accept them as human beings and
Move past your petty feelings of uncomfortability.
They are human beings. What discrimination do they face. What are they not allowed to do?

A better question would be "Do you think the courts will agree to hear those cases?"
The answer is "Probably, yes."
Many kids have sued their parents. Few win.
Sure they will hear those cases. Most of these people have a challenged life thanks to their mothers. It will only take one win to begin to consider the 'rights' of the unborn child.

What preferential status? Churches aren't taxed, because of the separation of church and state. Mostly, it's Christians and Muslims who want to base legislation on religion. There is no 'preferential status' for that.

And ultimately, those 'rights' will be found unable to trump the rights of pregnant women, which are already established.

So you think the mother would be found not guilty of mutilating her child?

No that's not why they aren't taxed.

What a maroon....
Ectopic pregnancies are babies growing
in the fallopian tube. Why don't the magical
doctors try to save the baby?
A doctor would rather remove a
baby or a uterus than try to
save it. Women are forever trying
to heal from their made up medicine.

Yep. Children are born. A guilty verdict would have to hinge on a finding that the mother did not have the right to make her own medical decisions because she was pregnant. I don't see that happening. I know, you do...you salivate at the very idea of convicting women of abortion.

Death penalty cases, are they, in the World According to Ink?

Hello zef.

You're more than welcome to attempt gestation of every ectopic pregnancy you conceive. It's your choice.

I don't recommend it....usually doesn't end well...

But more power to you, dear.

Why does the unborn only have civil rights, if the "mothers" say so, or when they are killed by anyone, other than an abortionist?

Dress codes are not enforced by law; equal treatment on the basis of orientation is. Those amish may refuse a customer for their attire but not for being gay.

You pay taxes; you don't get to say how they are used. Do quakers pay taxes, even though some funding will go to wars?
HuskerDu wrote:
<quoted text>They have a right to refuse . If you walked into an Amish bakery with short shorts and a tank top, they will refuse to serve you, its their right, they ar practicing their religion. The Amish do that. Nothing is said to them about that. Same thing with insurance, we will not pay for contraception or abortions. We have a right to do that. When a govt forces people to go against their religion and jails them, then we lose our freedom and America as we know it is lost and gone down the tubes..

Yes, thy do. But once they incorporate (become a legal business) they are subject to the business laws that pertain to their industry. The contract for service is between the company and payor, not the owner. All these idiots had to do was ring in another photographer of equal skill to do the photography, as an independent contractor.

It is unreal that we believe in these

We trust them with our

But the heteros who ARE "unclean, dirty and high risk for HIV & other communicable diseases" get a free pass. In the meantime, I enjoy a life with no communicable diseases at all.

Would you get a goddamn brain?

Restaurants set their menu as they choose. But they can't refuse to serve people if they are gay, black, hindu, etc.

Businesses are secular, legal entities, and are beholden to the laws that apply to that industry.
HuskerDu wrote:
<quoted text>So, a Muslim or Jewish restaurant has to serve pork. You said this No religion requires anyone to go into business. This is a secular country. Practice your faith ON YOURSELF instead of other people. But if we do that, we can't practice our faith. We have a right to practice our faith. The Chinese allows state run Churches, they go to worship, but can't practice their religion outside the walls of the Church. The Chinese govt is intolerant. A dictatorship. You want the U.S. to be a dictatorship? The Mexican govt tried to force what you posted, they ended up martyring priests and nuns. It didn't work.

Pastors don't have to marry anyone whose union they disapprove of--unless they agree to do so and later change their mind.

Yes it is.

True separation of church and state requires that the state not tax the church, and that the church not make laws.

Why do YOU think churches remain untaxed?

And if it's because they're charged with providing charity, why are there rich churches, and poor people??
