Sounds like an eternal 'Jerry Springer' show, with only two guests....

I'd put it at the same 'watchable' level, as "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo". ie: no way, Jose.

First you bash religion, then you say religion should feed all the poor so your tax dollars don't have to.
You're a mess..........
Maybe get off your fat azz and help others. You use your time to try to KILL defenseless babies in the womb.
You're pathetic.
Tax deductions feed religion so to whom should religious income go!

LOL, you know, he reminds me of June (do you know June?). Both of them extremists, one religious, one not. There is absolutely NO difference between his implication that if you "really" had an open mind about things, you'd believe, and June's implication that if you "really" thought for yourself, you wouldn't.
Extremists are funny, aren't they?
Oh good heaven..

I would pay to see G with June,arguing .

If religions stopped charity work, the government would no longer have money to provide your lazy fat azz with Medicare and Social Security.

Not really grumpy

I think religious charities are a backbone ..used to be the churches and synagogues helped the less fortunate locally ..because they felt
GOD wanted them to.

Long before there were tax deductions .

Most Americans give .

The three charities I gave a link on are four star ..use very little money on administration.

I like

SAMARITANSPURSE.ORG

because you see a real disaster on TV..an earthquake ..killings in the Sudan..

Tornadoes in Oklahoma,..poor neighborhoods .

They are there with practical help ..food ..shelters they build .

And they have the highest rAting ..just found that out .

Some if their people HSVE Been risking their lives for years now,in the Sudan ..in Darfur ..long before it became a thing for celeb photo ops .

That's charity..And not for tax deductions .

Did you notice SAMARITANSPURSE.ORG 'S Profit and Loss statement? They ask for donations. How much of their expenses go for salaries?
Most people take tax deductions up to 30% of their Adj. Gross income. Whatever their motive, that's a government gift to charities.
Do you take a deduction for charitable

Yes they do ..And,I can answer your question .

This site was given about another charity ..so I looked mine up .

It's,a non religious site .

You can look up ANY charity .

You might be surprised ..many of them spend half their money for fundraising and admin ..salaries expenses

Not so here

SAMARITANS PURSE has the highest rating THey give ..more than 87 percent of their funds go to actually helping people

Can the government say that??

I'm not sure it's that simple ..I pointed out you can now become an ordained atheistic minister ..She was not pleased. Lol

http://firstchurchofatheism.com/

She has to be the most "religious" non believer I ever met .

She like you much??

I usually scroll past ..tried answering her a few, times ..She is not interested in what anyone says to her.

Someone whose name I will not mention ..Lol cozied up to her one night with one of my posts ..like she was her buddy ..Lol
Showing of course ..That she never reads actual posting .which we already know .

The second time she did it

June says :: Does she bite????

J almost choked

Lol

And no to the tax deduction on my part ..just saying ..people give because they want to help .

Was,one of my first thoughts, watching the tornado aftermath ..after praying

I'd imagine most people who give yo that kind of charity don't even itemize ..But give when they can

Most if us who work don't have that kind of money ...we need it yo put food on the table .

But we know suffering when we see it .

And sad to say I wish I did more .

The people you speak of May give to their fancy causes ..THE ARTS is my favorite ..But eh o goes out and actually helps their fellow man .

That Charity Navigator site lists their purpose as well as what they spend on what ..
