So what. Contrary to what militant religionists may believe, many people, myself included, DON'T use the Bible as their user guide for life decisions. Therefore, whatever it says or doesn't say is irrelevant to me.

I never said, "All." My question was, "Can you accept the scenario as a reason to have an abortion?"

of course it is. whether pregnancy was intended or not, unless she was raped, it was a direct result of her willful engagement in intercourse. you are a simpleton but even a simpleton knows that.

it's not an argument, it's fact.
if it's "layered" with logical fallacies do me a favor and name just "one".

i did. you're wrong.

really? how did the little guy get there? the result of a willful act perhaps?

Your logic sucks. Outloud even. Besides, I told you to do the research on the logical fallacies. All you've done is dug your heels in and refuse.

Well I refuse to explain again why pregnancy is not the direct result of a willful act. It's very simple, Simon.

Hurry and get you some of that pie before it's gone.

"No Relativism" showed their ignorance with this

Prolifers aren't "punishing women with a baby" , but are standing up for innocents because you irresponsible, self-absorbed morons EXECUTE them for nothing more than being "little inconveniences."

its still punishment, regardless of what the voices in your empty head say.

For the last time, NR, stop using partial quotes of mine and attributing same to your insane postings. And stop referring to me as Katie V. or Van der Sloot or whatever craziness you've dreamt up in your empty head.

Besides, everyone who knows me knows I *know* it's an embryo/fetus in the womb no matter what imbeciles insist on calling it.

And, no. Don't try again. It was ridiculous the first gazillion times.

I am surprised the state doesn't deny paternity to a rapist. And have no idea why it would write in paternal responsibility as conditions for probation of rape. Is that state's courts living in Old Testament days?

Apparently they were teen lovers caught up in the age difference. She was 14, he was 19. Here's the story. I still think it's odd and Old Testament-like since it used to be women could choose whether to have the state pursue child support or not. And the state could not *force* visitation... at least not my state.

<quoted text>Your theory is like calling a rapist, thief and murder that, but suggesting we get them more jobs and education.
Besides, the "safe haven laws" prove that these women are simply murderers.
I must ask these simple questions: If your positions are that it is a women's right, then you admit that you do not care the least about the child.
Also, if your position is that it is a women's right to abort, they must decide, then how come your liberal groups are against a gay's right to choose 'REPARATIVE' therapy.
Do not argue harm, because the physical, mental and emotional harm from abortions are catastrophic?
What theory did I espouse?
Please be specific.

Here are your answers:
1) your first "question" was not a question. It was a statement, concerning your assumptions as applied to my perspective on abortion. It was also a false statement, owing to the fact that I absolutely care that children are born into lives devoid of parental abuse, abandonment, exploitation, molestation, ignorance, resentment, and/or a lack of love.

2) Your second "question" was also not a question. It was yet another statement, which asserted gays have a right to pursue 'REPARATIVE' therapy. I challenge you to show a post of mine which says they do not, or that I believe they do not.(Or for that matter, any post of mine indicating that I am, or have ever identified as, a 'liberal'.)

3) Even though it contained a question mark, your 3rd question was ALSO not a question. Yet again (I'm seeing a pattern here) you make an assertion - and in spite of your convictions, there is remarkably little physical, mental, and emotional harm from abortions, perceived 'harms' are not universal, and even when present, are RARELY 'catastrophic' to women. Women are pretty tough cookies, you know.

Fundies unsuccessful in making women suffer feelings of guilt, shame, and recrimination against themselves, by haranguing those women with threats of hell, and ugly name-calling, might however find THAT situation 'catastrophic' to their worldview.

Sorry about your luck...but not very.

And hey! Here's a couple questions for you:

What is your stance on in-vitro fertilization...a process which entails the deliberate culling, disposal, and destruction, of those fertilized eggs which aren't implanted in a uterus?

Are you aware that in-vitro fertilization clinics deliberately create human lives, with the aim of routinely destroying an undetermined number of them, with every procedure, as collateral damage?

Do you think it's more fun to control a womb, or a Petri dish?

No I don't pay much attention to what you say. From your statement, it seems that you do accept the unborn as the woman's little boy or girl.
