Why stop there, Bejay? Why not make it illegal for pregnant women to eat sugary snacks like cakes and cookies? In fact, make it illegal for them to consume anything but proteins and veggies. Let's make it illegal for them to sit in highway traffic jams breathing exhaust fumes. Make it illegal for them to drink caffeinated drinks like coffee and soda. And lets make it a law that they have to read the bible aloud to their tummies everyday while they're pregnant, huh? You fundies would love that I'm sure.
On that subject. No dancing, Listening only to christian music. Allowed to view only approved 1950's tv series. Oh and no sex unless your husband really, really wants it... Yeah, I am sure that would satisfy most of the christian fanatics..

These idiots seem to think of being "pro-choice" as pertaining ONLY to pregnancy.
Nobody who supports another persons freedom to make their own choices (within the law) is endorsing any of the actual choices. That is relevant to any aspect of out lives. I'm an atheist and do not believe in God or have any use for religion, but I support their *freedom* to choose for themselves what they believe or their desire to follow a religion. I support their freedom to speak their opinions but I don't agree with anything they actually say.
Why is that so hard for these people to understand?
I think the owrd that confuses them is choice.. Or maybe any word that has more than one letter.. I could be wrong.. It coulb the first leterr of any word that confuses them.

Though I do not interact with antichoicer that much in life. I have only these dolts to go by. And the rhetoric that spews out of their leadership mouth from time to time.

It seems that any one or anything that supports or grants freedoms, rights, and privileges to women to make an independent choice is not really understood.

Dna analysis results of mom & preborn baby are conclusive: baby is NOT part of mom's body.

really, then I guess its just my imagination that it resides in a woman's body and gets all its nutrients from that woman

You say motherhood is an option, so IF the laws were extended for a woman to take her child to the doc, and have them aborted, up to age 12 would you be ok, if a woman took her 11 year old, and legaly had them aborted?
You are trotting this nonsense out?? Really??

You do know that an abortion is a medical procedure that is preformed on a pregnant woman.

You do know you have, once more, looked like a fool for posting this stupidity. For what must be the hundredth, if not the thousand, time.

It was stupid the first time it was ever posted and now is just moronic to continue to trot this lame question out yet again.

critical thinking skills??????????

sorry but I've never encountered a religious zealot who had any critical thinking skills. In fact I do believe that a complete lack of critical thinking skills is a prerequisite for becoming a fundamentalist theist.

Would you be so happy, with your constitution, had it went the other way?
When it was written, nor very many women were seeking to kill their child in the womb. And the ones that were found a way, and only they knew. The reason people wanted it to be legal, is so that not only would they feel better about it, but they could get soneone else to pay for it.
Just like gay people. The only reason they march in parades and want to be legal in marriage, is so they feel better. The could feel normal, but no matter what folks say, there are very few gays in the world, and just becouse it is legal, doesn't make it right to be gay, or kill unborn kids.
Being gay used to mean that you had a mental disorder, and was illegal, were you all for that?
If roe v wade is overturned, will you support that?
The gov in ms. Is trying his best to have the only abortion clinic shut down.
check your history, abortion was legal when the constitution was written.

so if it isn't part of a woman's body and is not physically attached to her body, where is it located and how does it get nourishment?

It is attatched to her body to get nourishment. And when it comes out of the mother's body it gets nourishment as well. You also are advised not to drink alcohol or do drugs and take good care of it by not doing too much rough activty and you are sometimes advised to eat certain foods. So the mom takes care of it just like she takes care of her child outside of the womb. Now answer This question; if the fetus is "part" of a women's body, wouldn't that make the fetus a bodypart? If you answer yes, then that means you and I were once bodyparts! If you answer no then you see my point. By the way, unlike other organs, a fetus comes out of the mother's body after about 9 months. Does a woman's brain or heart do that? I don't think so.

something can reside in the body without being part of the body. if it were the dna would be the same. it gets nourishment from the mother.

So, no answer?
you do realize for thousands if years people would have thought that a country this size would give a woman legal rights to kill her unborn child don't you?

Plus other countries are already playing with these ideas. If a child is born with issues, then the mom can have that child killed, so what may seem far fetched to you today, seemed far fetched to those before us.
It won't be long untill old people are aborted.

This has nothing to do with womens rights, it has everything to do with right and wrong.

Killing the smallest of human creatures is just wrong.

poop comes out of a woman's body too.

Not all pregnant woman don't
Drink
do drugs
eat healthy.

a pregnant woman who wants a child will usually take care of herself while pregnant.

Yes, I was part of my mother's body when she was pregnant. My mother would never have an abortion, but she didn't feel it was right for her to make a decision for other pregnant women.

Oh, you must be referring to the way mankind was created to procreate: Pregnancy.
Ask your mom about it.
(wow)
every species has a drive to continue the species. However, sex isn't only for procreation. The vast majority of the time its just to be enjoyed. Else why would the majority of pregnancies ended in a miscarriage?

so now you are calling a fetus a parasite?

you know something that resides inside another body, gets its nourishment from that body but isn't part of the host body.

Okay, got it. a fetus is a parasite according to you. and you're against abortion?

If it was so legal, then why all the fuss now?
I've been stupid many times, but to be for, and promote murder of a tiny baby, is in a whole new catagory.

I just think if abortion is to be legal, that we should give the little fellows a chance.

Have a killer (maybe one of you?) Put the babies name,(mothers name) docs name, in a hat -draw out one name, and which ever one is the lucky winner -stick a knife in their neck.

Plus since its all about womens rights, how about when women are in prison? We know for certain, that a baby will cause hardship on her, and since she has no rights, then make them abort her baby?
