High school kids home most of the day?

Something is wrong with our education system in town if a student is home mid morning until afternoon... or do they have "short bus special ed" classes that don't require a normal academic schedule? The high school needs fixing but not in a brick and mortar sense.

I participated in the "Smith Program" when in highschool. My entire junior year actually.. the hrs were from 3pm-6pm (5:30 on Fri). Literally the easiest way to graduate highschool ever, I dont remember doing any work there. Looking back, I wish I could have done it all 4 years! Especially since it was only 3 hrs a day instead of 7!!
Thanks again Glastonbury! for sliding me thru in order to protect your reputation!!
