Very sad. If killing a man is not the wake up call, nothing will wake this person up.

Because of the shortage of court appointed people, people slip thought the cracks. this mother should never have walked with that much alchol in her system. Any person that mistreat a Child should be locked up for 20 years. Look at the out come it says the system does not work. There has to be another way.

how many more people are going to be hurt or killed before a judge does his job and protects innocent people from this violent criminal...she has no right to live in society anymore. she is clearly a serious danger...but they'll just slap her on the ass again and let her go hurt someone else....

What more is it going to take before this woman is ordered to a lengthy jail sentence? She has already killed someone!! Too bad she wasn't so well off financially- I guess money DOES talk (or in this case money SHOUTS AT THE TOP OF ITS LUNGS)in the world of justice...

Please please put this woman in jail before she kills someone else. I was SHOCKED that she had the nerve to ask the judge not to put her in jail and take her away from her children. I am thinking that her children might be happy to have her away for a while rather then home slamming their heads into walls.

This woman is a drunk, needs professional help and prison time. Not take her from her children? Why not, so she can slam their heads in more walls, kill or maim again? Give me a break. Just because she has money and is married to a wealthy MD is no reason for the judicial system to keep looking the other way. Maybe some of those judges should me more compassionate towards the victims -- those in the past and those she hasn't hurt YET! When is enough enough?

Must be nice to be rich and well connected. And have an ex-husband (doctor/surgeon) that is successful and probably footing the bills!! The only way she should be allowed on the streets is on a bike!!! Have another drink and drown your sorrows!!!!:)
Do you know this as fact? Her husband is a surgeon? I really doubt that.
Yes, she should be off the streets and NOT with her kids. The government agencies are overwhelmed with work and can't keep up. Something needs to be done about that!

They should make her install a breathalizer in her car and force her to drive straight. I'm not sure that jail time will help this person. Some understanding love and compassion is in order.

Is there not technology available so her car can be retrofitted with a device that requires her to blow into a "breathalyzer" type lock on a steering wheel....and if the blood alcohol content is too high the mechanism will not allow the car to start? Of course I suppose she could bribe someone who hadn't been drinking to blow into it! As some other readers mentioned, this is a gross miscarriage of justice. I guess it is true that money can buy anything in this society, even a slap on the wrist for taking a person's life.....

Hmm..Let's see.. 2003, kills a mailman while driving drunk....Goes home to family, in Glastonbury, and gets probation...2006...Slams dahghters head in to the wall,(same "family" she can't stand to be away from....), no violation, gets more probation, and home to the same "family" in Gleastonbury..... April 2007..... Gets arrested for drunk driving, and is now, being held on a 200K bond, which I am sure will be posted forthright. Are we sensing a theme here. Let that same alcoholic drunk driver be a single black mother, on welfare, in the city of .. Hartford... And she kills a mailman on say, Main Street, in the middle of the day. Then the same woman is arrested for assaulting her daughter, then goes out and gets back into the drivers seat. I'm sorry, but that is LAUGHABLE, because we all know , that alcoholic mother from Hartford, would have been locked up (as she should have been).. FROM DAY 1! NEVER, should ths Tracy Watson person, have been release to begin with, she has not only put herself at risk, but her children, and all of us safe, sober drivers, and our loved ones, at risk. This is a prime example of class bias.

I am just so gosh darn proud of our judicial system. Not.

Obviously this lady has a problem, and obviously the entire world, from the court system on down to her family is just one big fat enabler.

There is no stopping her, so why doesn't someone give her enough booze to make her brain damaged. That way, she won't be a menace to anyone anymore.

The judges that keep letting her go home, need to be incarcerated. Maybe even a dozen or more shots from a stun gun might wake those judges up!!

Are you otta your mund!!!...are you saying don't put her in jail because it won't help?...what about put her in jail to punish her for everything shes done....and as far as compassion...how much compassion did she show by climbing behind the wheel of a vehicle after she had already killed someone...bet you'd feel different if it was your loved one that was killed by this sorry excuse of a person...so going with your theory we should'nt put child molesters or rapist in jail either if it's not going to help?...you are NUTS!

This is from April 10th??? Today is the 23rd. Was she driving after the 10th till today..364 Alcohol content? Thoght you would be in a coma or dead? Lawyers probably say machine was faluty or she had acid reflux pushing booze up giving false reading.

Yes, and don't forget the person she killed back in 2003. Who are the judges these days? I have fallen and I can't think.

It's time this woman is locked up. Probation is not cutting it.Suspending her license will do no good she'll drive anyway.
