They should've continued with the barn & church while they were at it.
They will never ever be able to take down the church, Harvard owns it, because Paul Revere made the bell that is in the steeple...

When I was a kid the town center was very nice. Recently, both sides of the bridge are a disgrace. My mom grew up in Tyngsboro and when they built the new bridge was able to march across the old bridge, then the new bridge. And she spoke of Perham and Queens, then Farrows, then Clover Farm. I don't know anyone, except maybe newcomers, that would refer to that area as Shurfine area. I know the people of Tyngsboro would love to see the Church recieve a new paint job and tear down the other side of the bridge.
That is awesome... yup everyone knew the Farrows (Mr Farrow ran shurfine forever!!) he was and still is a super nice guy!!!

Keep the cranes and bulldozers coming! Now you knocked down that they've knocked down that garbage pit, they should continue with the rest of the town! Not only the buildings but all the houses as well. I hate driving through Tynsgboro to go to the mall, I feel like a lower class piece of trash. They should make the town of Tynsboro into sports fields or schools where the kids of Westford can further themselves.

At one time, that store was number ONE in lottery sales in the state of Mass. It was a goldmine.
Then the last owners bought it, and turned it into a dark and unfriendly hole.
People told them that ripping out the front registers was a bad idea. People told them that having a huge empty space in the front of the store when you walked in was a bad idea. People told them that turning off over half the lights to save energy was a bad idea. And everyone told them that filling the store with that sickening sticky sweet incense smell was a VERY bad idea.
The new owners viewed each of these pieces if advice with suspicion and distrust.
Why do these people come here anyway?
They made out like bandits though, they were on the verge of forclosure and Tyngsboro bought it for 500K more than they owed on it.. Hmmmm Mr Nicosia, on the town commitee yet represented these people, I smell a rat....

I really like Tyngsborough, but to say the town center will be one of the nicest in Mass is silly. The Library, town hall,is miles away, it is not walk friendly, and it is right on 3A near an industrial railline. She really needs to get out a little more.
she's just looking for a vote.really do something Garry to earn it.what a joke she is.

"I recall going into Shur Fine as a Kid 35 years ago and wanting a specific candy bar."

I remember going in, in the 80's because my mom sent me in to buy cigarettes (seriously) for her and them telling me I had to be 18. I'm really surprised now she didn't know this.

Well, now the general store is gone, and absolute abhore what they have done to that side of the bridge now.

I wonder how many people they had to evict from their houses on Sherburne Ave so they could make that huge mess of an intersection, that makes it a lot worse than it was before. You can still see how it used to look on Google Earth Street view if you want. I was going down Sherburne Ave towards the bridge and thought "Woah, what the hell is this?!" when I got to it. I didn't know they were doing it until it was already done.

Time for the Adams Barn to be torn down. What an eyesore.

Money being spent to fix it , is a waste.

Time to get rid of CPC,they just keep wasting tax money.

The 3% would be better off spent on school and sports and bus transportation.
