It is unbelievable that a man that gets convicted of harming animals receives a stiffer prison sentence and monetary blow than our very own sex offenders and child abusers that have, one two many times, been convicted and sentenced in the very same court. I am guessing that our judicial symstem here in Orange County weighs the quality of life for our animals (by NY definition, property) in much more regard that it does the lives and childhoods of our children. Sometimes you really have to wonder!
