Gold Coast of Connecticut: Too few had flood insurance
THE WALL STREET JOURNAL reports on three towns in that area. In Norwalk, 6% had it, Westport, 13%, and Fairfield 12%. Given the high income levels in those towns, the premium cost of about $585 couldn't have been a deterrent.
