She could have just as easily gotten lost or had her car breakdown and these animals would have done the same thing because of the opportunity. Would that have been Finch's fault too?

Right, because a republican administration would have had the entire city cleaned up by Sunday night after the worst blizzard to hit the area in 100 years.

False construct by a very defensive democrat lemming. No one ever said that. The democrat machine in Bridgeport has demonstrated utter incompetence everywhere, in every aspect. 3 days without sending at least a bucket loader down Park Avenue, arguably one of the 3 most important streets in bridgeport? Puleeeze. Lynne posted that a lot of their equipment broke down. Ok, but that information sure didn't get out.(if it is true) Another thing Finch could have done is display leadership- literally by calling on residents to go enmass to the streets at some popular time to shovel their side streets. People are discovering that streets can be cleared this way, but if everyone was called it would work extremely well. 'God put the snow there, and God will take it away'. You know who said that? The idiot socialist mayor of Bridgeport, Jasper McLevy. The one who filled the city with public housing, allowing the city to be populated with complete morons, who vote democrat so reliably that the democrats need to nothing to stay in power- while taxing you fools at double the rate of surrounding towns, towns which manage to plow the snow.

Many cars were getting stuck climbing the gentle grade on park right by marina (going south) I wonder if that is where it happened. Although if you can't climb that little hill, you are showing very bad judgement, and it gets a lot worse south of that.

Check out BPT's post #3, where he blames Finch and the town fathers,(all democrats), for the incident occuring... when i used the expression town fathers i meant the town supervisors or planners who are NOT elected officials. they are hired to do their job. and lookng at this response, are clueless. frank, responsibilty starts from the top down. politicians DO NOT like accountability unless it goes their way. you know from working that performance is what counts and lack of, counts also.

Wrong yet again, READ my post, I was referring to your contention: "Right, because a republican administration would have had the entire city cleaned up by Sunday night after the worst blizzard to hit the area in 100 years."

Yes I did, although 'lemmings' is putting it nicely. One nice thing is this snow is melting very quickly. Just as I was finishing up this morning, I heard a redwing blackbird!! Thats a very welcome sound, a sound of spring.
