Give me a break. It's Finch's fault that these scum did this? She could have just as easily gotten lost or had her car breakdown and these animals would have done the same thing because of the opportunity. Would that have been Finch's fault too?

if the roads were plowed she WOULD NOT have gotten stuck. she was not lost and the car would not have broken down.
i can't personally blame finch for what criminals do ever
yet
finch and his administration should be held responsible for the lack of poor planning, again, with this storm. i hope the democratic lemmings here in bridgeport remember the mayors incompetence come re-election time.

Right, because a republican administration would have had the entire city cleaned up by Sunday night after the worst blizzard to hit the area in 100 years.

Many cars were getting stuck climbing the gentle grade on park right by marina (going south) I wonder if that is where it happened. Although if you can't climb that little hill, you are showing very bad judgement, and it gets a lot worse south of that.

i can understand if the cars were stuck, and in the areas where there are lot of renters who park on the street. however i live in an area with single family homes and no one parks on the street. i have seen one city plow ( monday) and it was cleaning the lot where town fair tire is located. what's up with that?
wonder when i go home will my street STILL be one lane? must of been ten confrontations last night on who was gonna back up.

i have NEVER in my whole life living in brideport have i seen sucha poor response. i know it was a historic storm, yet this is incompetance at it's highest form.

when i used the expression town fathers i meant the town supervisors or planners who are NOT elected officials. they are hired to do their job.

Yes I did, although 'lemmings' is putting it nicely. One nice thing is this snow is melting very quickly. Just as I was finishing up this morning, I heard a redwing blackbird!! Thats a very welcome sound, a sound of spring.
