Something that cracks me up is how everyone is saying it's not him, that he would never do such a thing yet he is in jail for violation of probation, drunk driving and was also accused of sexually assaulting someone in an elevator (per yesterdays article). He really doesn't seem all that innocent to me. Can we say sociopath???

all those people are in his family. I'd say most people would not WANT to believe someone they're related to can do something like this.

it sounds like he's got quite the temper. Glad i never flipped him the bird on i-84

In Response to "HERE WE GO"'s comment...You are wrong...wrong for listening to all of these people who don't know anything about this ENTIRE scenario. Anyone who says Marash would "NEVER kill anyone" is WRONG...if they knew him...REALLY knew him, they would know that he most certainly could kill if he wanted, however, HE DID NOT COMMIT MURDER IN THIS CASE. Everyone will see when this is all over. Also, the fact that you equate drunk driving and sexual assault charges enough proof to find him guilty of MURDER makes me embarassed to have ever lived in Danbury.

What a typically misleading News-Times headline. The family, as described in the article, is anything but united in their belief that the police have the wrong man. This headline sells papers, as opposed to accurately depciting the contents of the article.

Is it so hard to believe, that after 4 years and "50 pages" that the police have a case? The successful prosecution rate for himicide, by Danbury State's Attorney prosecutors, working on cases built by Danbury Police, specifically these detectives, is over 95%.

Something to think about, eh?

The drunk driving charge maybe a little far off, but sexual assault charge has me thinking...

My point was that everyone is making this guy out to be some kind of an angel but apparently he is not with all these other charges against him. You have every right to be embarassed, I would be too if I was defending someone like this.

That's really reassuring. So you're telling me he is totally capable of offing someone, but this time it wasn't him. lol

Yes...is it that hard for your limited mental capacity to wrap around that thought? You may write "LOL", and it may be funny to you, however, if you knew even 1/10th of the facts, or the participants of this crime, you would understand that Marash did not commit this crime, and just because someone is capable of murder, that does not mean that they are guilty...THAT IS WHY WE HAVE THOSE BIG COMPLICATED THINGS CALLED TRIALS AND JURIES AND JUDGES AND LAWYERS...That was my point.

And by the way, if you seem to know so very much about who trully did this crime, then why don't you go help instead of causing a headache. Or are you involved in this little organized business as well? Point made, again, have a nice day.

Marty, probably because there only ARE about 3 unsolved murders in Danbury. For a city this size with a PD this size, thats a pretty impressive record.

What point did you make? None...You need to learn how to read and UNDERSTAND what is written. You are proving to be very uneducated...please re-read what I wrote. I NEVER said I know who did this crime, I only know who DID NOT do it. That is all you need to prove...Why don't you leave the Legal thoughts to the people who have been schooled in that field. Marash is not my friend any longer and I have no reason to defend him except for the lone fact that he did not commit this crime, and in this country even people that I despise, and that I do not feel are worthy of a solid defense, it is their RIGHT to have their case heard, and if they are innocent, no matter how big of a scumbag they may be, and no matter what kind of unsavory people they have business dealings with, no matter what prior crimes they have committed, they have the RIGHT to be free if innocent.

All Criminals say ”It wasn't me I did not do it” and all relatives say ”not my daughter or son there perfect”
I’m not saying this guy did it but come on.

He really didn't do this. It will be proven in court, but it just kills me that they are blaming a man who is innocent but who is the easiest target because the police is too lazy or too involved with the real criminals to do anything about it.

Let's look at this objectively: Anyone who puts 4 years of investigative effort into a case, by a half dozen agencies, reviewed by at least 5 layers of oversight, can hardly be called lazy. Persistent, dedicated, committed, not lazy. Real life isn't CSI or Law & Order. Things don't get done on schedule to make a commercial break.

Now: Involved with the real criminals? OK, so in one anonymous post you have labeled life-long investigators, again from a broad spectrum of agencies and various levels of government, all corrupt and part of a conspiracy? Again...this isn't TV. Get 6 cops to agree on where to have lunch and you are doing good. Agree to and then keep silent on a conspiracy involving a murder? You spend too much time in the mystery aisle at Barnes & Noble.

Listen, everyone here is entitiled to their opinion. You have yours and the cops have theirs. I was just noticing some very humurous comments and defending going on. You can pick as you please and say I am uneducated all you want, really doesn't bug me. Cool the hot temper and let time tell the truth. In the end, we will see if he is innocent or not.

Weather he did or not will be up to the courts. What reak criminals are you talking about that could have done something worse than this? This crime is about as criminal as it gets.
