Yes, I'm with you. I know I have been sounding a very defeated tone lately, however, I'm doing so because I believe we have lost, most likely for good. I therefore am letting it all roll off my shoulders. I will continue to vote for small government of course, but if I'm going to be out-voted by a bunch of 3rd world leftist dopes then I'm just going to concentrate on living out the remainder of my life in style. It's their kids who they will pass a worse country to. I don't have kids.

I don't think most Obama voters know about deficits, debt, borrowing, interest, GDP, ratios, or any of that. The mainstream media is largely to blame, but also a cultural shift towards entertainment and away from intellectual curiosity and the real world.
Occasionally you meet a die-hard democrat who is obviously intelligent. These are people who defend their liberal stances using their exceptional intelligence. They're stubborn, and dishonest with themselves. Did you read David Brooks Jan 1st column? It was excellent.
