DoJ Forces Mega-Mosque on CT Community

There are 11 comments on the Free Republic story from Dec 27, 2012, titled DoJ Forces Mega-Mosque on CT Community. In it, Free Republic reports that:

The Al-Madany Islamic Center of Norwalk in Connecticut wasn’t ready to give up when its proposal for a 27,000 square foot facility was turned down by the zoning commission over matters completely unrelated to religion. The Islamic Center sued, asserting—as you might have guessed—it was religious discrimination. The cry of “Islamophobia” got the Justice Department on its side, and the zoning commission suddenly changed its mind after a closed session ...

from Free Republic:

"The current Islamic Center was established in 1999 and serves 100 families. Feeling that more space was needed, the Center purchased the property in 2008 and made the $3.5 million proposal in the spring of 2010. It calls for a facility with an 80 foot minaret to serve as a community center and mosque, including eight classrooms, two libraries, three offices, a kitchen, a gymnasium and other rooms. It has a capacity for 1,000 people.

"The proposal was rejected in June. The officials and residents that opposed it never referenced Islam and repeatedly emphasized that religion had nothing to do with it.

"Mayor Richard Moccia said,'It was not based on any religious bias.' Commissioner Adam Blank said community centers are not allowed in triple AAA residential zones ..."

Those bastards.

With any luck, the construction of this monstrosity will be beset with delays, over-budget items, weather setbacks, materials pilferage, random vandalism, & other pitfalls of any ordinary construction project.

They will take over the area with Jihad Parking.

"I donít know the particulars of the signs in Phoenix, but I do know that Iíve heard horror stories in several communities about Muslims blocking driveways, parking in restricted spaces and even pulling into peopleís yards. Itís embarrassing to hear--especially if itís coming from a non-Muslim. My experience has been that surrounding organizations try time and time again to ask Muslims to be courteous and are ignored."

However this can happen if you organize for the car to be towed away:
"This incident began when two youths parked their car in a Jewish family's private garage.

When the family saw the unfamiliar vehicle they called police, and the car was towed. Upon finding their vehicle gone and learning it had been towed, the youths became angry.

They returned with a gang of friends to exact their revenge upon the hapless family. The gang broke into the home, severely beat up the father of the family and destroyed the rest of the house."

A sign of good times to come.

But we are still behind schedule as a future traveler crossing America should be able to perform each of the daily prayers in appointed time in these mosques.

I know a Christian church that wrecked a residential neighborhood in much the same way. After that the town adopted religious zoning, now all religious buildings have to be built there, away from residential neighborhoods.

We travel for all sorts of purpose - business visit, leisure, meeting, conference, and family visit.

When traveling by air, we make prayer in airports. When traveling by land, we stop for prayer in mosques, if available.

Man is a social animal, and has been making contact with each other, constantly, since long time ago. Mosques play important role in Muslims social activities.

Christians? No, they no longer go to church. We'll buy abandoned churches, and turn them into mosques.

Apparently, some people are bent on allowing suspicion take control of their mind.

I'll tell you the meaning of JIHAD.

To strive in difficult circumstances - that is jihad.

To build mosques in a society full with suspicion of Islam - that is jihad.

To do good in a bad society, is jihad. Strugling and striving for goodness and defeating evilness, is jihad.

Muslims in America, by building mosques, are bringing goodness to the communities. This JIHAD is good, nothing bad about it. You will see how a mosque will transform your area into a garden of bliss.
