Well then why don't you just show us some of those trail cam pics that you have of a mountain lion or are you just lying. There are thousands of trail cams strung out across WV and there are no pictures posted anywhere. So prove it.

I actually have mountain lion pictures from my trailcam.. Gonna tell me how fake they are pal? And the coyote pack was pretty cool too.. Plus the black bear that got pissed when my old tasco trail cam flashed him in the eyes. If you don't know what you are talking about just don't speak.
I have Camel pictures from my trailcam. Gonna tell me they are fake? And the heard of Elephants that came down out the 'holler', got pictures of them, too. I don't blame you buddy, they don't believe me when I tell them, they think I'm making all this stuff up. I saw a kangaroo on the ridge the other day when I was feeding the cows, gonna set up a camera for him too.

I've seen black bear many times in my life. I grew up in Cabin Creek, its a valley and saw them sporadically throughout my childhood. I remember them getting into my grandmothers backyard many times. I've always heard there are mountain lions in WV, but with the illegal animals brought into this country that escape and multiply it would surprise me to hear of a panther spotting.

I apologize to you for any harsh words. I truly am sorry and I've been lashing out at you. At first you seemed open minded to the subject which is mnt. Lions. Then you seemed to not believe. Ive made a few rude comments and I will not do that again. Sorry

I took pictures of cougar prints I found in a field on my property in Spencer w.v.. I found them in red clay . First of all its not tecnically ilegal to kill a cougar if you see one cause its the Eastern Cougar that's extint ! "What we have in all of the states east of the Mississippi river is the Reintroduction of the WESTERN COUGAR " ! Which took place in zoo's and other foundation's that were breeding them ! Why do you think they are worried about not seeing baby cougar's ? They are worried they might not breed cause of the stess of them beeing born in captivity then being released into the wild with no guidence from there moms teaching them things ! Also don't tell them where you see them cause we are doing there field studing about how they are progressing so screw them all an take'em down !

People are always telling stories about the DNR releasing mtn lions, wolves, coyote, etc. None of them are true. I even heard one story about dropping rattle snakes out of planes, lol!
I also hear a lot about insurance companies being involved. All bs.
Until I get a mtn lion on a trail cam...or someone very close to me does, I won't believe they are here. I'm not saying someone couldn't have release a pet or something like that. I just don't think they are present in any solid numbers.
I have heard for YEARS we have MTN lions, until I get a trail cam pic to satisfy my curiosity. I hunt with knowledge of such things, to keep me on my toes! I would much rather be prepared as a smarter hunter then wish I would have! Ha! Expect the unexpected. When we hunters get to a place we believe or think something is impossible it's time to hang up the bow, and lock of the guns, b cus your hunting ignorantly! It is FACT THE DNR release predators to thin out another animals population. One released predator is coyotes, what the DNR didn't account for are the growing numbers of coyotes. This is why in most counties the season is open year round and did have a 10 dollar bounty on each.(Not sure if that is still going on or not). The Gov tries to regulate when they make it worse!!! Having two homes, one in WV and Alaska I have seen this to be true! Some feel that seeing is believing, haha! Well be a smarter landowner and hunter, arrogance will not save your animals nor a possible soul! I am no conspirator, but knowledge can be your best weapon! My neighbor has his own cattle, he owns a business cutting and selling beef. He recently had a HUGE black angus taken down, ripped and shredded apart, by what he thinks is a coyotes... My husband and I hunt these surrounding woods and have seen, heard, and killed coyotes NEVER have I seen a pack so large to make this kill!
It's possible! 7 miles down the road a person claimed to see a MTN Lion she has dogs, she recounted the sighting and said her dogs had never acted like this before,(which they see and hear coyotes all the time) she also was shaken by experience being she has young children. Claimed to see a lurking animal like a cat, only this was no bobcat it had a huge tail!! Now it's likely this could be the animal that killed the huge cow! I don't know if this is a true or if the MTN lion exists in these parts. It only makes me a wiser smarter hunter.

I live in wv and find it incredible that anyone could think they don't exist. Just come visit us for a while, plenty of hospitable people up in these parts would show you around.. as long as you don't mind the laughter when you tell them mountain lions aren't real.

If those cats are in the area why are we not finding dead ones time to time or are there any getting hit by vehicles?
