"But Mr. Jones asked the jury to place his client on probation, pointing out that she is the mother of two children and has no prior felony convictions.

"Restore Rhonda to the community as a functioning, law-abiding citizen," Mr. Jones said."

This sentence was to harsh! Killing a disabled person is not the same as killing a normal person who actually contributes to society. This was little more ten an assisted suicide and should have been treated as such.

Are you the daughter that your mom tried to get you to lie for her or was that your sister ?

If that was you, then you did the right thing. You should be proud of yourself. Your mom murdered a man, tried to get you to lie and you DID do the right thing young lady.

My mom would never kill anyone! Get your story straight! and yes I am that girl, but you have no idea what happened with that. the police LIED to me and convinced me that my mom told me to confess to something that wasn't true!

All I have to say is if you see that her daughter is writing on her then why do you have to be such a horrible person then right that. as you can see you do not have your story right. Rhonda Orr did not kill her husband. She tried to rescue him. and maybe if he actually spoke to his mother then she would know the truth. and the police did lie to that sweet daughter. she was young and vulnerable and they took advantage of her.

no- dont know anyone in illinois, as to someone who knows, we know you know more than anyone, believe me so do the police, they are just waiting until your are 18 and who said anyone was threatening your mother, that is if Rhonda Orr Wiggins is your mother or do you know who your mother is, no one is sure who your father is as a matter of fact your mother was married to Kevin Mumford when she got pregnant with you and he is not your dad, so I guess that is her pattern. We worked with james and we know him better than anyone, he talked about your mom all the time and it wasn't good. You ought to stay off websites that don't like your mom and now you

I still love James. He was my Daddy and I won't ever forget that. But my mom is innocent, whether you believe it or not. You know, people keep telling me that I don't know anything, but keep this in mind...I saw and heard everything. So, while you make these ridiculous accusations remember that the only TRUE witness never testified.

If you saw and heard everything how come your mother told everyone including the police she had to wake you up out of a deep sleep and drag you to the neighbors and left you with the neighbor, which the neighbor testified to, also if you are the only TRUE witness why didn't you testify and why were you kept away from everyone who might get the real truth out of you

all the statements you mother gave about you didnt mention you were a witness and saw it all, also you lied about James being drunk, the autopsy proved that, and the neighbor heard your mother ask you "what did you tell the police" when they questioned you at the scene and she also heard you say "what you told me to" None of this adds up to what you are now saying, why cant you admit, yes my mother is guilty but I still love her, everyone could understand that. It is a disgrace to your step fathers memory for you to keep coming up with lies that have been misproven.

if you know everything why did you mother tell the police you were asleep and what would you be doing up at 3 or 4 in the morning-and you mother said she had to wake you up and drag you to the neighbors who said you never left their house your stories are starting to sound like your mothers if you know so much why didnt you testify and save your mother-you are getting in deeper and deeper with your lies-dont be like your mother be your own person

I never said my dad was drunk. You obviously don't have the whole story. Whether or not you believe me, I never did. The testimony written down by me were not my words. I WAS lied to by people who were supposed to be there to protect me. The Little Elm police department. Not my Mom.

As for a disgrace to his memory...my dad taught me a lot of things. One of them being: do what you know is right. That is not a disgrace. His memory of this earth will never be tanted by what anyone says. He was a good father, friend, and husband. No one on this earth can change that
