Spuds, how can you condone 12 tribes for blatant disrespect for the land, air and community?
Do their beliefs REALLY support outright disregard for the environment? Our YOURS?
My comment was in answer to someone who was blaming religion for all the ills in the world. I was defending the right to worship or not worship and not the 12 tribes. It is unfortunate for me that my comment wound up at the top of a new page and left me holding the bag. I had been posting the same comments on the story about the "Girl Bitten By A Skunk By A Church In West Bratt." in answer to the same anti religious zealots. To quote D.Thomson, "I opened a whole can of fruitcakes". I fully agree there is no reason to burn the stuff they did. Plastic coated electrical wires and that sort of thing makes an awful stink! Even if nobodies health was affected, one persons rights end where the others' nose begins. There is no reason anyone should have to tolerate it.

I am very concerned about the streetlights at the intersections along the highways, rt 123 & 103, being removed. I am sorry I missed that meeting. Some of those lights were put in because because of bad accidents. In one case I remember a death resulted. I could show you the place but I don't remember who it was. It was in the early 70s. They had better think twice about the intersections or what 12 tribes did will be minor. It will be more dangerous than before the lights for a while. Old habits die hard and I wouldn't be surprised if more than one person runs a stop sign and gets killed. I will certainly keep my fingers crossed!

123 and 103????? must mean rt 5 and 121, 123 is nh 103 start at 91 in rockingham and goes to chester,
and my comment about fruitcakes wasnt toward the religous people it was toward the nuts posting the blogs , we all make mistakes is all i was saying and now because of the burning stuff by the ponders there evil and terrible people, well i dont think so,if you would like to compare them to the general population in the area, we are alot more destructive and sicker then these people ever will be, just look at the police logs and crap that goes on, bet ya only see a few if any bad things on these people in the last few years, i used to fix there vehicles and everyone of them had always been very polite and always payed me promptly and well, never heard one say a bad thing about anyone else and never heard one cuss or swear like most of us do so well now a days,
theres been other illegal burnings and they wernt in the headlines like these people have been, and as far as organic farming goes ,half of that is a big farce anyways, yea they may not use pesticides but the water from the rivers and rain and the stuff blown off the railroad tracks and rt 5 would surprise you,
and i still say motion lights are the way to go in the village

Makes sense to me, but I guess they are taking them out anyway, rather than just shutting them off, which would be cheaper. I know the fruitcakes are the Antichrist posters. They crawling out the bushes, the other night, like zombies!

Yeah, I meant rt5, 121, & 103. Actually there is a little bit of 123 in Vt. It is in Westminster. That little half mile of road that runs from nh 12 to rt 5 by the old NE Culvert Co. That's got to be the shortest rt. in Vt.

The 12 Tribes let that fire rage for over 30 hours right next to the BFUHS with all that poison being sucked into the air duct system on Monday during school, worse yet all that hazardous waste that was openly trucked through BF for days. Several folks complained to the authorities in BF and the even town hall . How could you not even see the trucks had no DOT stickers on them? St Jen Carol was sent there Sunday on a complaint found nothing wrong but never even ran the plates to see if the company was properly licensed, Chief Lake got complaints on Monday about those trucks not having the permits, he did not even bother to go down there till after 5 and guess what the trucks had gone by then.

Imagine tearing a building down in the square and not 1 fire truck or police officer to control traffic or suppress dust and contaminates for getting into the environment, when the tore the Recreation center down the fire dept was there because they knew they blew it downtown, the big expert that runs the show made a brief appearance when the 12 Tribes was using a torch to cut metal at Oona's and set a little fire. Weston ordered it stopped until the 12 tribes got a fire extinguisher. When the building was knocked down a cloud of dust blew all over downtown. The town manager was standing right there with the head chief of the 12 tribes during this demolition.

Just 1 day before a building that was being demolished in Ma collapsed on workers etc and was in all the papers and on TV how did Rockingham allow this to go on?

The good old boy network hard at work doing its usual, what is it going to take another tragedy? What if that building had collapsed on kids and civilians from the 12 tribes in plain sight of town hall?

Accountability and leadership is needed.

big deal, its different if the government pollutes the air and ground i guess, theres o much oil and oil smoke in the gulf right now and your worried about a little puff of dust, it wont kill us ,and it looks alot better now it is gone, and i dont believe there required to have hazmat plates for construction debris, your not complaining about the rec center to??? surprised at that,i think sometimes some of you just like to complain to just here yourselfs

Dennis the Rec Center was done right thanks to Matt Treibor. Yes you do need DOT permits you know that to. Dont try to defend the act of good old boys.

You more than anyone know how that works.

yea guess i am old school, the new way is much better, cost all of us tons and look how the kids and crime are now hmmm something wrong with this picture, we used to get it done without all the bull and over paying goverment research, permits and studys and the people worked together to get things done the best they could, and it didnt hurt us a bit, you can make fun of me all you want, and i dont believe in the same beliefs as the ponders and dont agree with alot of the other religions either but i dont put them down for it, yes they screwed up , or a few of them did , leave it at that but dont say there all bad for it, that would be like saying all the construction crews are not responsible because one of them drove an oversized truck over a covered bridge and it collapsed, i know adams does very good work and am sure he did it right, i was just trying to make a point is all and i guess i used the wrong example

Dennis we can agree to disagree and it takes a man to admit mistakes. You have good old fashion values and work ethics, you are a good man.

Correction on the drug raid it was a different house on Old Terrace not the house that Ron knows about. Maybe the heat will drive them out.
