Next the wealthy out of state land owners will wont to say they own the stream beds. The town should not have said they wont fight.

Everyone needs to fight this. These unused roads and misused right of ways of the past are causing many in the state grief. FIGHT BACK!

We need to end all such idiocy, by truly embracing our human ingenuity and progress. We need to pave the earth!

So, why do we want to Pave the Earth? Because right now, the earth is crap. It is littered with trees, oceans, and tons of animals. It is also rich in natural resources and is cursed with a blue sky. But the main reason, is that we want to drive very fast, without having to conform to the turns and traffic patterns that are inherent to the current inferior patches of pavement. How infuriating is it when you get going at a good clip, and the light turns red? On a paved earth (read perfect earth), there would be no need for stopping or turning to avoid creaming some unsightly four-legged creature.

I hope the old Indian trail comes right though some snobs yard and I91 has to be moved 10feet to the side. Back in the big one the postal route came through my living room and the post office was my parlor but now it's 3rd owner removed it is a B&B. We need state money to help us through these times.

No, we don't need any "money" to help us through these times. We need people to buck up, grow a pair, and start growing their own food, building their own houses, fixing their own tools and etc. Real men/women don't need grocery stores and gas stations to survive.

But then, we are pretty much wimps compared to most previous generations.

We'll learn. But I'll bet we will turn to firearms first, and then true honorable self reliance next.

Asking Mike for advice!:-) High standards you have pal! Anyways, I certainly wasn't calling (or did I "cll") everybody a wimp. I was calling anybody who can't survive and thrive without big box stores a wimp.

If you number among those, then indeed you are a wimp. Real men know how to use their wits, a shovel and sweat to grow food for their family.

Watch and wait, this will become more real over the next few years.

speaking of food and gas, it's that time of the week to hook the horses up to the wagon and go into town and hunt down some food at Shaw's Grocery store. Maybe I'll take the car, it's easier.
