Opportunities for teens to contribute to their communities and further develop employability skills are much-needed in this area. Just as an FYI, Meeting Waters YMCA employs more than 20 area teens in our summer camp and ASPIRE programs. The training they receive is from top national organizations, they are mentored by experienced youth development specialists, the work they do impacts the lives of nearly 500 kids from the area, and they earn a competitive wage. We're very proud of this aspect of our commitment to positive youth development.
