The bible speaks of Mary and the immaculate conception. My first question is this.

Did God impregnated Mary (or gave her life) if you choose that term, without Mary’s consent?

I believe your first response will be the discussion between Mary and Gabriel and how Gabriel told Mary of the situation.

However, if I recall correctly, Mary’s response to the news was “how could this be for I know not man”. This means, Mary was not aware she was with child and that this was done to her AFTER the conversation with Gabriel.

I will state, Mary immediately considered this as a blessing. Your thoughts?

Second question. Was the purpose of the great flood to destroy all the evil in the world? If so, why does Evil still exist.

what I am posting are my thoughts. You as well are being conformed to some image. What you read in the library, what you see on tv, what you talk about with friends. Mine is just eternal. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

No, I was actually hoping to stop you from posting endless scriptures instead of real answers.
The problem with scriptures is they are open to interpretation. The message you think you are sending out isn't always the one being received.
Aside from that, anyone can cut/paste from a source. It says nothing at all for the person behind it since they make no attempt to show that they themselves have an understanding of it.

I do not take offense to your attacks. I know that it is not a personal attack on me. I am nothing, you are attacking God. I have every right, actually a command to "promote" my Jesus. He is the only way to live in peace with God. Otherwise you will spend the rest of eternity in the lake of fire.
<quoted text>
"He is the only way to live in peace with God". Okay, that statement is confusing.

Jesus is the only way we can live in peace WITH God? As if he protects us FROM God? While that is an interesting enought though all by itself, the fact that he is ALSO God just makes it insane. He is saving us from himself.

Because "In the beginning God", not you. When you create a heaven and earth then you can run things the way you would like to.

Well since God is the giver of life, yes He impregnated Mary. We don't know how, it just says The Holy Spirit will come upon you , and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Mary's response was Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; be it done to me according to your word. I don't quite understand your question beyond that. I don't understand the full extent of everything the Lord does, but the Genesis say that The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth...the Lord said I will blot out man whom I have created...but Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. So God flooded the earth and saved 8 and some animals. This is nothing new to God though, think about Sodom and Gomorrah, Jericho, and many more.

3 persons in one. Jesus came to earth and lived as man and was perfect therefore He did not deserve to die like we do. He lay down His life so that I can have His righteousness with the Father.

And the proof that 1) The earth was created by some being and 2) That it was the God in the bible and not some other God that has been worshipped or is unknown is what exactly?

But it isn't nearly that simple.

God (the Father) sent himself, as God (the Son) to die to appease God's (the Father's) own anger.

Basically, he killed himself to appease his own anger. I am to be thankful for that? That the act of simply NOT killing is beyond him?

I would be no more thankful to a terrorist who blows themself up before they reach a crowded spot in which to plant the bomb.

Let me rephrase - which version of the bible are you reading and when was it's last printed date?

That is true, everyone's thoughts are shaped by what they know and what they think. However, mine is a mixture of many different beliefs. I am free to accept or reject concepts in science and in other belief systems. I am not required to buy into one hook line and sinker without question which is the difference.

The bible has been around for a few thousands years which has it relatively new compared to mankind. To say it will last forever might be jumping the gun a bit. While it is still the largest belief system in the world it is not the fastest growing and will be replaced by something else in the relatively near future.

Sue,
I know that someone else mentioned it but I wanted to add it in as well - it is actually nice to have these talks with you. I am sorry if I seem a bit rude at times, it really isn't the intent. They aren't directed at you personally in any way.
