The town of Hampstead has totally over-stepped its bounds in this one. Why destroy one business to provide services for expected growth. I think the judge was wrong in allowing the right to take the well and property. The $2.89 million is not enough to off-set the loss of a family business and way of life. Hampstead has had no better citizen than Lee Snyder!

I agree with you, all the way! I am from the Manchester area. It is so sad to see the development springing up all around, as it is!

I don't even live here anymore(now San Diego)and all I can say is it is real sad to see these areas change the way they have. I know eventually all things must change. Hampstead will always be home to me, but it's just not the same anymore. Sorry to see your going thru these growing pains.

Agreed Ryan. Wow, San Diego! That is a whole lotta development! Lol. I think there will always be a little piece of Carroll County in those that leave. It is a unique area.
