If I didn't dislike Asquino before this letter, I certainly do now.

His friends are as pompous as he is.

"Dan" is a bargain? If that's a bargain, I think I'll continue to shop around.

Too bad his students have to pay huge fees to keep this academic yahoo happy.

I couldn't be more disgusted with the entire situation.

One last thing, I guess he couldn't devote "much of his free time as a leader of efforts to improve the region's quality of life" in a repaired 2009 Toyota Sequoia. Oh, that would be unbearable.

In these hard times, he doesn't know how lucky he is. He doesn't work harder than anyone else, and he isn't more special than lots of people out there, dedicating their lives to the good of their cities.

Can't stop thinking about the waste of money buying a new land yacht.

Daniel Asquino has been the best thing to happen to the Mount. This man eats, drinks and sleeps the mount.

I was a student at the Mount and to be honest, Dan Asquino is involved with every aspect of the college community, he is hands on all the time.

Dan Asquino is constantly praising the students and faculty at the Mount. He is always brainstorming many ideas on improving the Mount.

I understand that these are tough times but new vehicles will still be bought for administration needs. The main point that must not be overshadowed is that Dan Asquinos' heart is truly with the Mount. He is a great man and has done allot for the school as he is constantly actively changing and suggesting positive change for the Mount.

The terrain is tough in Gardner during the winter and can be extremely dangerous at times. The Mount gets pounded with snow and Dan Asquino is the lead guy who always has the best interest of the Mount in mind. I believe that this man is worthy of a vehicle that accomodates him in the running of the Mount.

This man is a hands on administrator. Applaud him and assist him in bettering the school.

Mr.Asquino, I only met you once but I always noticed that you are always involved directly in the schools affairs. I have had many conversations with many people outside of the school who are familiar with your honest efforts and always talk well of you and your efforts at bettering the college. I wish you that best and I congradulate you on a job well done as president of the Mount. Thank you for your constant attention that you give to bettering education at the Mount!!

If you have only met him once, you clearly have no right to write such a glowing review of him. The man is an arrogant, self-serving, elitist whose sense of entitlement is beyond that of anyone I know personally. Take, take, take...what a pompous idiot. And BTW, the terrain in Gardner is not rough. It is flat from the highway all the way to the College. If the students, faculty and staff can make it there, so can he!

I saw the "sold" Denali sitting out front today. Must be nice, Asquino. Must be nice. Hope you drive it in real good health. You can say thank you to me and all the other taxpayers for our gift to you.

Mr, Asquino has done a lot for the college. He works tirelessly at his job. He is extremely active within the college! Everyone that I talk to that knows him feels the same way! If Jen Flanagan did her job as Asquino does then this district would be better suited.

I'm assuming that you are the same person who wrote earlier. Both from Maynard. Sorry, but your friend is a loser who loves perks.

Yes, he has done a lot for the college, like promoting all of his cronies to vice presidents, along with giving them all hefty raises, which will be on the back of the Massachusetts taxpayer since they will collect 80% of these huge salaries for the rest of their lives. Oh, and did I mention that he does NOTHING for the poor employees who actually do all the work? No raises, no recognition, he just busts the morale. He is an evil man on many levels.

If you like the Denali gift vote Democrat this fall. If you think perks like that should be handed out to a college president at a small rural community college where kids struggle to pay the tuition vote Democrat. Don't forget the Fitchburg State University Pres who collects 40k a year as a Board of Director from Unitil. If your in line with all of this vote Democrat.
On the other hand if you think its the duty of college prsidents to be as frugal as practical so that they may serve the students and keep tuition and fees as modest and practical as they can be while delivering a robust curriculum then vote Republican and vote for "Change".

People in a position of power will always be compensated more than you or I. They are in most cases highly educated and top of the class. Like it or not we are not a socialistic society yet. If you want Tom Brady to work for you than you will have to pay him what he is worth. Nancy polosi flys around on tax payer funded jets as if the money falls out of the sky, as does our president and his family. Get used ton it. It will never change. The Hollywood crowd that preaches conservation all own multiple homes and toys(cars, planes) and do more damage to the enviorment in a year than you or I will ever do in our life times. Sorry to say that's the way it is and will always be.
