Schools officials' hopes for a new elementary school building took a giant step forward Friday, as they submitted the schematic designs for a new J.R. Briggs Elementary School to the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

Our taxes are to hihg as it is.
People are leaving ashburnham left and right.
This will be voted down by many we know in Ashburnham.
This will only cause bad will fdor this town, people are unhappy as it is with no school.

the town hasnt paid off the public safety building this must be done first.

So the Nov 17 vote is a town meeting AND NOT a ballot issue. We know the teachers and school families stuff town meetings. Do we get a chance to shoot this down at the polls?
