Sad thing is that this year's round of budgetary cuts is about to come out from our useless Governor. You'll see another round of cuts come out in June too.

And I thought that all those tax increases this Summer were supposed to help our corrupt state.

Officer Phillips presence in the school makes him approachable to the students. The kids would have the opportunity to alert him of any problems with other kids without filing a formal complaint with the police dept or school administration. Ashburnham and Westminster communities are not that different from the Amherst, NH and Mount Vernon, NH towns where a woman was killed by teens looking for a thrill. There is a misplaced sense of overall safety in the towns.
And who thought that type of crime would happen there?[Mount Vernon] Many reports noted that other student saw significant changes in the teens who are charged with the woman's killing and near death of the child. Maybe an officer in the school might have contributed to looking closer at the deviant behavior of these kids.

How much of the stabilization money was used to pay for the Jarvenpaa land,$1,000,000? Taxpayers need to understand implications of Town Meeting vote.

Some of the members in the community enjoy living in a small town within a 10 minute drive to any major needed shopping.
If a major commercial development had been approved, the tax revenue is spent and in bad economic times the money is still going to be cut. Hell, all you have to do is look at every other community around us. With the exception of Leominster, no one is really doing fantastically - and Leominster is expecting a big hit this year but have been able to weather the storm thus far relatively unscathed.

Poppycock, Westminster townspeople are now "members"? Do they have to sign-up somewhere when they enter? Are membership cards issued? What are the membership benefits?

So much for not repealing the income tax and then in turn increasing and adding sales taxes. Isn't this what Deval and his lying cohorts said would happen if we DIDN'T keep and increase taxes??

How about taking a look at the Westminster contribution that is handed out to Monty Tech every year...What is the per pupil expense for those students?
Who is paying the bills for the silly fountain out front and the non stop renovations...It's a school, not a hotel lobby. They continue to have late buses until 6 p.m when we have to cut our late buses. Take a look Westminster officials.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
