And now a weather update from Fox 8 Cleveland:
Published by Meteorologist AJ Colby
It's another cold start all across the Buckeye State. Temps are in the single digits and below zero in spots. Snow is expected to arrive later today with a general coating of snow to "slicken" roadways.
Friday's record low temperature of -3°F was the seventh time that Cleveland has experienced a sub-zero reading this winter so far. This is especially interesting given the fact that Dick Goddard discovered that last winter's coldest reading was +7°F!
USA snowpack has also been a headline. We reached a new peak for this winter at 67.4% of the USA with snow on the ground.
The comparison to last year is stark. Our snow pack has DOUBLED compared to one year ago:
For those wanting a break from the deep cold... the middle of next week is your chance to enjoy highs that may actually break the 32°F mark for a couple of days.
Meteorologist André Bernier contributed to this story.

I see, so the leftist belief is that if not for WalMart, more Americans would be working; that no other CEO of any other company would have realized that the mood of America is to buy cheap foreign products?
My what an imagination you have. You do realize of course that this internet you're using is good for other things besides blogs? You know, like buy things from all around the world?
I think there are some things you need to get straight:
Companies do not create jobs because it's a social responsibility of some sort. They have jobs because they need people to work. A workers worth is defined by their education, experience and abilities. Their worth is also calculated by what any other person would do that same job for. If the job is to wash floors, then it's a monkey job that anybody can do, therefore, worth less than other jobs.
Companies do not concentrate on dollar figures--workers concentrate on dollar figures. Companies concentrate on growth be it in the thousands, millions or even billions. Companies rely on investors such as you and I. To attract investors, a company must have reasonable or good growth.
A company is not responsible for paying you or anybody else a "livable wage." YOU are responsible for making a livable wage. If you are working for somebody that doesn't pay what you consider a livable wage, then you move on to a company that will. If no company will pay you a livable wage, then it's not their fault--it's yours. You are not worth the pay of a livable wage. YOU must do something to make your labor more valuable.
Those cheap products you seem to think Americans love so much are directly due to CEOs cutting corners to make more money. The exact same reason they outsource jobs. Greed. Not that having my refrigerator only work for six years, instead of 25 like the one we owned before it, doesn't make me feel patriotic.

It sure is odd that the top 50 list of employed Medicaid, OWF and Food Stamp eligible employees of those companies read just a like a donor list to the GOPTP'rs . Tax breaks and incentives are not government handouts according to fools like you. That list also show's that government is keeping people's head's above water that want to work and are working. You and your ilk keep bowing down to the shareholder's of those companies who do absolutely nothing to earn their money whole you vilify the working class.

Not too surprising:

"What do Wal-mart Fleet Drivers Make Per Year?

The average, experience Wal-mart fleet driver earns $71,500 per year. This does not include bonuses and profit sharing. Some drivers earn close to or slightly over $100,000 depending on their time with the company. "

Conservatives think of war as a metaphor when applied to politics. For radicals the war is real. Thats why when partisans of the left go into battle, they set out to destroy their opponents by stigmatizing them as racists, sexists, homophobes, & islamophobes. Its why they so often pretend to be what they are not kike liberals for example. And thry rarely say what they mean. Deception for them is a military tactic in a war that is designed to eliminate the enemy.

Back in the 60s our revolutionary force were our activists and for a moment we were reminiscent of the idealistic Christians yet we urge violence and scream 'Burn the system down.' We have no illusion about the system but plenty of illusions of how to change the world.

Conservatives gleefully wave their little flags and cheer as our American soldiers go off to die for WMDs that they lied about in Congress and gave huge profit no bid government contracts to Halliburton. You know. That stuff Bush did that was a thousand times worse than anything Obama even came close to. You know...that war you like to pretend was free? They click their heels as Bush penned laws on the heels of the worst terrorist attack on US soil that pissed on the Constitution and crushed freedoms in this nation. They haven't been "represented" by a Conservative president within their lifetimes because time and time again, REAL Americans told them to stick their sneaky, conniving, fascist agenda up their corporate fetch boy @sses. This is known as the voice of the people. Deception is "Read my lips, no new taxes" but little drama book gun show conspiracy theorists always seem to overlook that part when they prance around on their not so high horses. Bronze aged Bible thumping racist loons who think for a second they stand a chance in a nation that has left them in the past and has happily moved on. Might want to jot that down in your little book you keep selling, because obviously the American voters aren't buying it.(Also see last two presidential elections)

At this point I think we should all keep our cars running for a week 24/7. Some scientists (real scientists) are making claim that this kind of weather could be with us for the next ten years. I don't know if I would be able to handle that.
Now when you say "real scientists" are you talking about the 97%, overwhelming majority of climate experts who think you are a flat earth nutball, or are you talking about the Heritage Foundation Koch brother oil billionaire paid lackey kind of "scientists" that make up a laughable and miniscule percentage you always desperately cling to when trying to make a feeble point? Interesting that you are ever so ready to agree with the scientists who say it might be cold for awhile, yet you sit quiet as a church mouse about the 50 degrees we hit more than once last month. Which is normal? 50 degrees in January in Ohio or snow and cold? You got nothing and the facts are right there for everyone to see. You look like a freaking moron when a month of cold weather trumps 30,000 record high temps in one year. You have an obvious agenda and we can only hope that kooks like you die off soon, so we can ditch fools who mindlessly suck off the oil and coal industry with nothing to gain, and get down to making sure corporate greed doesn't leave our future generations of Americans living in a toxic wasteland.

I did? I find that rather unusual since we don't deal with WalMart, but one of our customers makes products that WalMart sells. And I do know that WalMart in the past has pressured our customer to sell their products to WalMart at a cheaper price. In order for our customer to do that, they have to find suppliers that sell at a cheaper price as well.
The suppliers they currently use are more high tech than the suppliers our customer used in the past. This means much more automation and less manpower. It's almost the only way to compete with foreign suppliers. Because of volume, my employer does give them special prices, but we still make a profit.
At least with the products and supplies I delver, I can tell you that they are 100% US made. I can also tell you that I talk to WalMart drivers all the time, and they are pretty happy with the pay and benefits that WalMart provides them.

Oh my, how you global warming people get so upset when you're scientists with their phony predictions are proven wrong. But not to worry, our controlling governments will keep funding their lies and continue to try and take more control over the people.
By 'real scientists" I mean scientists that have proof of something they clam--not anecdotal evidence that is meaningless. Real scientists understand that man doesn't control our temperature, but the sun does. You know the sun.... that thing in the sky where we get our heat?
Yeah, we hit a few nice days last month also known as a thaw which is quite normal, but this weather has been with us for weeks and weeks and weeks. I can't remember the last time we actually hit a normal high or above. Lately we haven't come close and on several occasions were well under 20 degrees below our normal high. We even broke some records too!
I bet you're still confused why they changed the lie from global warming to climate change. You see, when they found out the earth stopped warming, they had to do something. So they changed the lie to climate change because the climate always changes, always did, and always will. This way they can never say they were wrong. It's colder than normal--climate change, it's warmer than normal--climate change, it's normal as normal can be---climate change, we had tornados and hurricanes--climate change, it's getting dark out at night---climate change, my roof is leaking--climate change.
Sorry, I'll stick with the overwhelming majority of climate scientists. You stick with your outdated oil industry propaganda. Funny how quick you guys are to suddenly agree with scientists you claim are liars and idiots when they say it might be cold for awhile. It speaks volumes about how you really roll. Speaking of hard core, scientific facts...any luck chasing that ghost out of your semi?

Real scientists are not in the pool that are paid around $1 billion a year by Exxon/Mobil and the Koch Brothers to refute any article that comes out against those huge polluting businesses. It was researched and shown that they have a group of around 91 organizations at their disposal to spin their agendas. As usual it was ignored by the folks just like you and mutt but was reported on many reputable news sites. Not the spin doctors that usually spout the lies you love to dig up.

Do your scientists have any idea how much damage we have to do to the environment to get this stuff off of our driveways and streets? I'm going through gas this winter like no tomorrow. I really can't afford it since my boss can't give me a raise due to all the environmental costs associated with our trucks and diesel fuel.
Yet in Australia they had to invent a NEW heat index color to show high temperatures never seen before. Just a week or two ago it was below zero here, it was 122 to 125 degrees there.

Another gay reference, huh? So far, you've shown yourself to be bigoted against Christians, women, and gays. Any other group you don't like? You're a very good little democrat, by the way. Your party demands tolerance -- enforced by law -- but your real feelings always end up showing themselves.

Christians are very relevant in the scientific world, numbskull. But you keep pretending they're not, if that makes it easier for you to believe the "real" scientists who think that dairy cows are destroying the planet. They do the politicians' bidding, in order to stay funded and relevant.
