Is that an insult?

Yep we all know the border is porous. You seem to be happy that this criminal was in the U S, and murdered a citizen

According to the Charlotte Observer report, approximately 27% of DUI cases against Hispanics in North Carolina are dismissed because the defendants fail to appear quadruple the rate of white or black defendants. With 100s of new DUI cases filed ever month, most of these are never followed-up on, even though prosecutors have the ability to re-open the cases if suspects are found.

No.....I think anyone who commits a crime should be jailed if a citizen or deported if undocumented. I also think those of us who just want to have a better life and future should be left alone.

But you fail to mention that North Carolina only has 100 hispanics in the entire state, of course the percentages would be higher.

All criminals should be jailed and if another crime is being an illegal alien then after they serve their jail time then they should be deported.

Does not seem to stop millions if illegals from driving without a license, or insurance for that matter.

Bail was set at $400,000 today for a 30-year-old man facing aggravated DUI and other charges after a 42-year-old man was struck and critically injured while riding a skateboard in a bike lane on a Bucktown street this week.

Luis P. Pena, of the 2700 block of West 24th Place, fled the scene of the crash on the 1700 block of North Milwaukee Avenue about 2 a.m. Friday but was pulled over soon afterward at North and Oakley avenues, police said.

Pena has been charged with aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, both felonies, and misdemeanor counts of DUI, reckless driving, not having a driver's license and operating without insurance, according to a release from Police News Affairs.

Pena was ordered held in lieu of $400,000 in bond court. Pena had a blood alcohol level of 0.18 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit.

In addition to the new bail amount, Pena was ordered held on a bond violation from a previous drunk driving charge, officials said.

The 42-year-old victim was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition. An updated condition report was not available.

There is no doubt you will kill a child, a women, man or pregnant women, with that stupidity. Go home. And p.s. maybe you'll just hit a tree and we will be done with ya.
