Funny, they wanted to close this unit, now all of a sudden they need them.
Politicians are such corrupt jerks.
Now, as the result of what this well trained unit will do, the politicians will line up to say "see what we accomplished!"
The 106th will once again show that they are one of the most vital rescue groups in the entire northeast!

Will these savages down there again be firing shots at rescue helicopters and will they again attack and stab the bus driver who's evacuating them to Houston because he's not driving fast enough? Or how about when they get to Houston and FEMA's there handing out $800 in CASH to each savage and they're minutes later filmed leaving liquor stores with $400 bottles of Moet champagne?

Are they being trucked or flying? Do you have any Idea what flying a Chopper costs? At least 1000.00 per flight hour.
Quicker and cheaper to truck them.
Given they are needed, but lets think in advance!

WHY? Why are we doing all this proactive arrainging of resources to help in New Orleans! Nothing has happenned and they are not calling for help, The cops and Firemen left some days ago to be on station to do their thing. The do over governor , not to be outdone has sent rescue helocopters! Come on folks, they are not in any trouble yet! That moron in Albany needs to get someone to read what it costs to send the choppers south! Most of the people got out of town this time, there won't be anyone left to shoot at the cops ! Could it be that the mayor will actually get it right this time? If the 9th ward floods this time it would be an omen, God is telling the dopes not to build there! Turn it into a wildlife refuge and a basketball court! With the money spent there over the last three years, it is some of the most expensive real estate in the country!

I finally realized what is going on with this N.O. deal, Our do over governor don't believe a city that is predominantly black can weather the storm without outside help from the "brothers and sisters" from other places! This to me is racist! Let Nogan do his thing and bring out his own choppers, I am sure there are at least one or two chopper pilots in New Orleans? Why is the know nothing moron from N.Y.S. spending our money on something that hasen't been asked for? Isn't N.Y. in desperate financial trouble due to his mismanagement?

God Speed to the 106... Listen, whether or not they will actually be needed - is it not better that they will BE ON HAND already, rather than the chaos that befell Louisiana, last time? I do believe that WE would be relieved, if other states sent this type of assistance BEFORE we were about to be hit with a major hurricane. Maybe, just maybe, it will prevent any stupid or criminal activity from the residents down there.

How lives in the gheto under the sea? Close down that operation and send the first responders home. Now that everone is out it is the perfect time to fill the place with 100 bunker busters and walk away!
