Read the story again, Huey. The owners claim to have filed a complaint, but apparently none was ever truly filed.
"Quogue police Lt. Christopher Isola said the village is not officially handling the case because no complaint has been filed with it"
Apparently you didn't read the article very carefully because they did file a complaint with the state police.
"Dettmer originally complained to the State Police when she got the note, and a state trooper has interviewed Dettmer and Cully. A State Police lab is still studying the note to see if the writer can be identified."
Nice try though. Nitwit.

You have one hell of a crystal ball that you can tell what's going on all the way from Arizona. That's some mindreading ability you have there, you aught to invest in the stock market so you'll be busy and not have time to bore us with your useless drivel. How's that fence on your southern border coming? When will heavily armed members of the Mexican Mob stop doing hits on US soil of rival drug dealers?

My bad Alabama not Arizona. what was I thinking. How do you circumcise a redneck from Alabama? You kick his sister in the jaw. what's the differnece between a snow tire and a guy from Alabama? The snow tire doesn't sing every time you put snow chains on it.

Wow! You did an amazing job of exhibiting your ignorance in two brief messages. And by the way how come you didn't bother pointing out what was supposedly wrong with my comments? Could it be that you are full of it? And what mindreading was I doing? I was simply reading the article and what it actually said. You should try it some time.

Today's times are hard, for sure, but affordable housing is not the answer. The East End of Long Island has a right to perserve its status and image and way of life.

And by status, do you mean well off pretentious snobs who think they are better than everybody else?
By image, do you mean multi-million dollar homes that are only used 3 1/2 months out of the year by well off pretentious snobs and their so-called friends which in turn drive the housing prices up on the rest of the island?
You can have the East End. I'll take Nassau and/or Western Suffolk, both of which are an hour or less train ride to Manhattan.
