hey does anyone know what happened to new park cinemas? i drove by and looked it and it looked like the ceiling came down...i kno the building was old but just curious if there was an accident or if they closed it to renovate...thanks!!!

I was wondering the same, checked with the town and they put me in touch with the theater owner. It seems during the last heavy rains in late Oct there was a leak above the marquee that worked it’s way into the ceiling causing it to come down in a section over the right side of the lobby. Engineers are inspecting it and work is supposed to begin repairing it this week. They said they hope to re-open it next week for Thanksgiving weekend.
