YES!

You don't have a prescription for that and you test positive? Oh this is going to ruffle some feathers.

The problem is, these scammers will have momma tested who doesn't use drugs while the other adults in the house buy, sell, use to their hearts content. Unless every lazy butt adult in the house is tested, probably won't help much. I hope the food stamp crew has to come up with the drug test money. Least they could do for all that free food and health care.

Here's probably what the deal's going to be..
If Momma getting Food Stamps for her and 3 kids =$636.00, and Momma test is positive for drugs, she's still gonna get Food Stamps for her 3 kids =$497.00. She still got the Food Stamps to go out and sell. They ain't doing nothing to fix this. Just creating more of a mess with these drug tests.

And youre right about the drug dealing baby daddy living in the house that she hasn't reported is living there.
Now what? With your five marion county fraud investigators hows they going to catch 10,000 frauding homes?

You're probably right! I would do the job of checking every last one of them and I would do it for free because I'm so tired of watching them get their free shit at the grocery store with their fancy name brand clothes on, talking on their iphones and jumping into their gas guzzling SUV's. Wait! Don't forget your 10 kids! put them in their donated car seats!

Kroger is unbearable first 10 days of the month. After putting up with being treated rudely while these women in pj bottoms made a run for the fruit punch isle and generic sugar cereals, i asked the clerk and he said food stamps are distributed first 10 days of the month. Avoid the stores on those days.

It always kills me how they can afford cigarettes and cell phones but not food.

Republicans making another mountain out of a mole hill. Maybe they should take drug tests to. Instead of being the hypocrites they are. Then I would be all for it. But lets don't stop there. Anyone who gets taxpayer money should have to take a drug test randomly. That would include police, fire, judges, political offices and workers and even some lawyers as in public defenders and prosecutors. I say we test the whole lot of them. Besides it may not even go through the senate. Drug test them also.

Spoken like a true hypocrite ie republican. Not if they pass the drug test. If they fail the test then they should be held to the same standards they are setting. If they lose the job then they could get a job in the private sector where the companies set there own policies.

they are making caos. they are bringing down the middle class(us) and making their bank accounts bigger. they want to cut spending, congress should try cutting their own spending.
the people getting food stamps, lie to get them, sell part of their food stamps once they do get them, go line up at the food pantry to get more food, live in section 8 the im never gonna pay rent apartments and homes. they smoke, drink, wear name brand clothes, drive better cars than you do and cars better than what congress drives!
lets give the moochers another reason to file a complaint when their drug tests come back positive.
then congress will need more money for more fraud investigators.

Apparently you have just been introduced to Moe. The real Moe of Indy, that is. Anything you write will be judged the same, while all of his magically get judged as brilliant, even though most of his stuff is just plain old crap. No substance, and nothing to say. Oh, and btw....he uses at least a dozen names, and will steal yours in time. Especially if you have the audacity to say anything against the liberal agenda. You have been warned!! LOL! On another note, I agree with you. If I have to be drug tested to earn it for them, they should have to be drug tested to get it.

There is a program where they can get free cell phones.

They should all be tested, not just the suspected ones. I guarantee 90% would be cut from the program. They sell their cards to buy drugs all the time. It shouldn't be the new incoming recipients, it should be all. Young and old on welfare. It's a generation problem. If granny's on it so is momma and then daughter grows up and she be getting it, as well. Test them all!

February 25, 2013 ( INDIANAPOLIS)-- Some welfare recipients would face drug testing under a proposal that has been approved by the Indiana House.

The House voted 78-17 on Monday to require all applicants for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program to complete a written screening test for possible drug abuse problems.

Those identified as possible drug abusers would need to undergo a drug test. Anyone failing that test would then have to take part in a treatment program to continue receiving benefit payments.

Bill sponsor Rep. Jud McMillin of Brookville says it is aimed at helping those with drug abuse problems and improving the home environment for children. Some questioned whether there are enough affordable drug treatment programs available.

The Republican-dominated House last week rejected efforts by Democrats to have legislators face the same testing.
