I'm dropping my health insurance next year as the rates doubled as did the rates of the supplies doubled. My family can't afford to be sick. We take vitamin c supplements, eat healhier, and avoid the public as much as possible.
The hospitals have an income based plan where they can work with you.
Besides, if you do get billed, you may end up like the story Greed - Taking advantage of the already weakened on topix where the woman had to pay more because they wouldn't work with her.

Yes, I have seen ignorant people that want extra attention desire to be poked, proded, and cut. Ignorant.

Home. Now waiting for the results. Heck of it was there was no pretty nurses.. But at least one had a sense of humor. She told me that she was she was the OPC on her ward.(Official Pecker checker)
If you lose your sense of humor, to me you have lost everything.

Thanks. From what I seen from pictures that he took inside of the bladder, the tumor was large. There is one picture that showed what he called bumps. It look to me as those bumps were inside the muscle. That may mean remover of the bladder. I have already decided witch treatment that I will take if this is true. It is only a guess from me.

Oh wow. I hope everything turns out for the best. I'm glad your surgery went off without a hitch. I'm glad that you are on top of this and know which treatment will best for you. Hang in there and take it easy and take it one day at a time...

As we age an occasional OPC is nice. Is the offering of ice cream afterwards inappropriate?
As my dad used to say, old age ain't for sissies.
Difficult decisions, medically, based on difficult circumstances. Study, study, study, what your situation is on the internet, choose the best option, or hospital, in your mind. Please do not blindly follow what options the Dr. offers as my mom did. When she had cancer, they will chemo, operate, and test until you die. When my dad passed the Dr. did a procedure that just increased his pain, and did no good.
I asked my mom once if she would do chemo again, and she said NO! My plan is to live until I die, and yes keep a sense of humor.

Duchess, I wonder how someone could give you a disagree mark on your comments. Without faith, what hope would there be?
I know some say there is no God, it is a fairy tale. But holding on to a creator, supreme being, God, Jesus, beats thinking that out of nothing came something, that flopped together to create planets, stars, space, etc.

Thanks Ralph, I believe in a higher power, it works for me, but I won't push my theories or faith on anyone. In this case, I am praying for David, that he is healed. I pray for the Dr.'s that are helping him. We must consider the source of the ones behind the "disagree" marks.

Thanks guys for the comments. The only thing now is the pain of the tube. Biggest dam tube I have ever seen. But that comes out next Wednesday.

Yes I know that any cancer can be fatal but you notice that is not bothering me in the least. We all have to go sometime in the end and I too believe in a higher power.
You may have notice that I do not ague with anyone about God. I decided it does little good so I am going to let God sort it all out.

Funny I did not start this form for support or pity. Save your pity for someone who needs it. The support is nice and I am really fining out who my friends in real life really are. I could not receive better care then I am getting at home. Even my former family is helping. Strange story about that one.

You see, I have a sense of humor that plays a big part in this. My girlfriend and I can joke or talk about anything that comes up. Like I said, there are options out there that can be done and I am hopping for the best. Again Thanks.
