Find out where all the Pacers were. I'm guessing one of them is involved.

Insert your FAVORITE Pacer joke here now...

( I know...I shouldn't pick on our "winning" team, but we never used to read about Slick and the 3-Time ABA Champ Pacers ever getting in trouble).

The "oldtimers" used to hang out at the "Red Garter" so this generation of Pacers is no different. Matter of fact a large number of oldtime Pacers were Cocaine heads and bedded women all-around the country. So nothing is new under the sun, some ballplayers are just more dicreet in their actions than others. Nevertheless, they were paid less and had more brains than to carry pistols and did not need their entourages and bodyguards. Why do you think they called him "Slick"?

God, you people in Indianapolis are such witless morons. The pathetic thing is that you honestly think your Pacer jokes are actually funny.

By the by, read Terry Pluto's "Loose Balls", his portrait of the ABA Pacers isn't always very flattering.

So, when an incident in Indianapolis occurs that doesn't involve a Pacer in any way, shape, or form, they are somehow going to be the ones blamed or joked about.

Considering the monumental problems facing the city of Indianapolis, such as the poor schools, crumbling infrastructure, non-Pacer related crime, civic corruption, illiteracy, infant mortality, the brain drain, obesity, pollution, divorce, meth, unemployment, and forclosures, it's amazing that you losers still get so outraged and obsessed with the Pacers.

Your town sucks because of you, not the Pacers. Fix your own house before you go throwing stones at 15 basketball players. Priorities.

Genius. Clearly, Indianapolis is the only town with these problems. I am sure where you happen to reside has none of the issues you listed above.

It's societal. It won't "get fixed", in my opinion, in the next 200 years.

When our highly paid entertainers (that are role models to children whether they like it or not) make stupid decisions, you can expect this type of feedback. The "normal" folk make stupid decisions every day, and nobody notices, except the victims.

Join me in the real world, and learn to laugh a little.

Lets point out the number of runs to the adult club. It doesn't reflect the club!! Lets count the number of robberies, disturbances, and thefts at the local Village Pantry stores. So use a valid reason to bash the club in face of a horriffic incident.
