Seems like this meeting would have made all the sense in the world had it been held BEFORE rendering an official opinion Genoa? IF officials actually care to listen to the voice of their constituents that is? Since it appears an opinion has been rendered without asking anyone if they needed the township to spend all this money "modernizing" a county service...! BUT, holding a public meeting now is still hopefully something they will do. Even if it won't change their personal opionions, this might let some different opinions get aired out there?

Wow, Genoa Township residents are paying to add fulltime firefighters to thier tax's, when the county used to put three paramedics in the building and pay rent. Why would you add more personel and duplicate service already being done, unless its to feed the ego of the Fire Chief and try to extort money's from the county, to help pay for people he added. What a waste. He should be fired for misuse of taxpayer monies.
