The nice thing about owners of propety putting up those signs, is the safety of the gun free zone that the signs create. It's quite peaceful and safe that way.

I carry anyway. Concealed means concealed. All they can do is order me to leave if discovered.

And I have no problem leaving. But I bet that I will never patronize their gun hostile establishment again. And the same goes with certain malls w/ such signs.

The problem is the bad guys are gonna carry anywhere they want. All you're doing is keeping the guns out of the hands of the good guys! I'm with Jason...I carry EVERYWHERE, and you can bet on my help if something should happen. I like the saying,'Better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6'.

Only places though I would not carry are post offices, places of workship (in my state, it is illegal w/o due and sufficient reason, whatever that means), govt. property, courthouses, schools, airports, and natl. parks. There are more serious consequences when caught carrying in those places. Unlike private businesses that ask you to leave if caught, you will get prosecuted immediately, on a local or federal level..

That is just about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Do you find it peaceful when only crimanals have guns?

Unfortunately sarcasm doesn't translate well in the internet forum. It isn't always recognized for what it is.

Gun free zones are open crime zones.

Really the owners have taken a right decision because in the pubs many peoples will not have a steady mind where they can go up to some extend when they have drunken on that case they might have taken the gun for the shooting purpose if they are in the quarrel. So itís a right decision to ban this gun

You know nothing of concealed carry permits restrictions. Your sentence structure may be an indicator that you haven't thought this topic out logically.

For those with permits from my state, carrying concealed guns in bars have been allowed since July 2010. The only stipulation is that you can't drink. However, you can drink in a bar but you have to carry with your gun exposed rather than concealed. And so far, no increase in shootings as gun control/gun ban nuts thought.

You can gamble, twirl your gun and get ass faced drunk in a bar at the same time but God forbid you light up a smoke...

Do that and they will throw your drunk ass in jail gun or no gun.

Laws and lawmakers that violate the Constitution are also "bad guys". The "Law of the Land" ARE the rules!!!!

US Constitution

Article. VI.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

Laws "made in Pursuance thereof" must also be incompliance with the Constitution or they are therefore Unconstitutional.
