Eight men who ran four area food markets are accused of abusing federal food programs for the needy at a cost to taxpayers of more than $1.5 million, newly unsealed charges allege.

The people in this article are not the recipients of benefits. They make money by doing things like buying up foodstamps for cash or trading non-food items for food stamps. Doesn't make the crimes any less heinous (in fact, probably more so as it endangers benefits for those with legit needs). But calls to cut off benefits are misplaced.

Uh...theyre buying them from someone who has them to sell.
The benefits of whomever sold them needs to be stopped and they need to be charged and ordered to repay every dime theyve stolen from the system.
Then they need to pack their asses up and send them back to their own country where they can starve.

Somalis rule in Columbus and can get away with anything due to support from Coleman. Even when (in December 2005) Columbus police detective Deputy Jason Evans shot a crazy Somali named Nasir Abdi (after he threatened the deputies with a huge knife) the Somalis were able to play the "crazy" card, have a mini-riot at City Hall and even sue the city for a half million dollars which was paid due to pressure from Mayor Coleman's office and the Somali Lobby.

Without having paid zero taxes, government takes a half million dollars and gives it to the Somalis when anyone else who threatens police with a knife is terminated, but not the Somalis.

The problem is Somalis recieve so much money in government benefits they don't know what to do with all the money from programs such as:

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families formerly known as AFDC
Medicaid
Food Stamps
Public Housing
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
Social Security Disability Insurance
Administration on Developmental Disabilities
Child Care and Development Fund
Independent Living Program
Job Opportunities for Low Income Individuals
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program
Postsecondary Education Loans and Grants
Refugee Assistance Programs
Title IV Foster Care and Adoption Assistance Payments
Title 20 Social Services Block Grant Funds

With so much money one real problem is that much of this money is used to fund terrorists organizations (for which many Somalis such as the man arrested in Columbus and the two Somali women in Minnesota) have been found guilty.

Hard working tax payers are suffering while these people (who have not contributed to the system) live better than those who work and pay taxes in this country. This is a generally corrupt program and especially so by those who have criminal cultural tendencies.

That's right Collins. The same insanity is going on in various Scandanavian Counties as well as here. Somali clans are basically crime familes and Somalis will be "Outlaws to the end."

ur an idiot. it was the county that paid the settlement and thats because they didnt wana takke the case to trial. The deputies werent trained to use tasers. if the county had lost they would have paid much more.
