Hey STUPID yourself. It just is not right for people to use intimidation tactic's to make someone remove signs for candidates they support, and some of Fusco's people did that. They also went into people's yards and businesses and threatened them if they did not remove the signs. That is a fact because it happened to me and a few businesses owners I know.(as did Brown's people) As for political parties. The by laws of all the parties clearly state and prohibit officers from a party or its members from placing or openly endorsing a candidate from another party. This was also done by the Democratic chair who just happens to be the next door neighbor of the Republican chair on Kent St. That is just not suppose to be done, and they should have been admonished for it and removed from office unless the party endorsed that candidate. Which the Democrat's did not endorse Fusco. That was just not right, and quite a few democratic in the party di not like it, but were to chicken shit to do anything about it. That should never have been allowed to happen no matter if you are friends with them or not.
if you get intimidated by a threat of "take down the sign or else". tell them NO & call the state troopers. as for the dem chairperson, that must be betty H.doesn't suprise me at all

Frank and Dan that might work in most cases, but with older residents who have to live near or next to these people I don't believe it was worth the risk of alienating your neighbors. They are going to vote for who they want behind the curtain sign or no sign, but I understand their concerns. I just thought it was terrible that people felt the need to stoop to that level. From personal experience I had a contractor who was going to do major work at my home. When he came over the day he was suppose to start the job he told me he had committed to do another job, and was not going to be able to do the work now. I found out several days later from a mutual friend that he had told him he did not take the job because there was a Brown sign in my yard. Now that was as stupid as you can get. A contractor is so well off in this city he can afford to refuse jobs because of a sign. I call that just plain stupid.

Funny but I do recall Brown and Massucci BOTH doing that so let He who throws stones in his glass house look in the bottom of the bottle for THAT answer...
There were dirty dealings back then with the handling of many things including the VIPS which is why so many people who had the best of intentions quit. Then there was the fact that just before election, all kinds of beautification projects started popping up and money was being spent by the powers that be like a sailor on shore leave and the city finds out that there was nothing in the recreation funds shortly there after so pointing a finger makes you all look guilty. On another note, do you seriously think anyone who has read the constant smear campaigns here and in the paper would EVER vote for these people again? The public is giving Joe a shot ot do his bit and if he succeeds he will run again and if not another person will come along. Drop the smear campaigns. They make you look pathetic and bitter. people need to grow the hell up. It is about character and integrity people and I havent seen one drop of that from these threads since they started. For those ever thinking of running for office a bit of advice: Be honest and be fair. No one will judge you for that. Even if the honesty is not a welcome thing to hear it is respected. Above all you want to maintain respect of people. ALL people, rich or poor. Voters can be lax in using their right to vote but one thing is certain. Lip service is just that. People dont like being treated like fools and nothing will send a voter to the polls faster than feeling they have been wronged. Understood?

Do you seriously expect people out hear to believe this tripe you just posted on here? My goodness you have been so brainwashed you don't see Fusco is worse than anything everyone claims Brown did. As the others have said on here where is the PROOF? There isn't any. It is just a bunch of trash made up by people who got something to gain from it. Mainly Fusco and his clonies and people on power trips like you. Enjoy it while you can it will not be much longer before Fusco World come crashing down, and I hope it hits you right in the head.

If I ever run for mayor, I damn sure would not use Topix as a gauge on how Im doing. This is a virile and libelous site because people lie and libel other people on here. Besides, probably 3/4 of these people are too lazy and dependent to go out and vote. Smarten up Christy,

Gee and you think it was ok for you to call your neighbors and other people and tell them to take down their Brown signs or else. I know the what else because the clonies came by my house and tried to remove mine. Not like your Democratic Chair neighbor who put up Fusco signs in her yard. She should have been made to resigned for violating the by-laws of the party. So we all know who's pocket the Democrat's in this city are in now don't we.
