A District of Columbia Mom is apparently upset with a teacher at her daughter’s school for telling her class she was getting married… According to the Washington City Paper… Margaret C. Hemenway, identifying herself as a D.C. Public Schools parent, claims to have filed a complaint with Chancellor Michelle Rhee over her seven-year-old child’s “sense of innocence.” At what exact moment was the first-grader’s innocence whisked away from her, never to be returned? The moment little Hemenway’s teacher at Tenleytown’s Horace Mann Elementary allegedly announced to her first-grade class that she was planning to marry a woman.

My daughter and grand-girls are planning on coming down to Port Arnasas in mid-October to get away from things for a couple of days. We would like to find a place where the locals go for good fresh seafood that's not the typical "Landry's" or other big commercial restaurant.
